A St. John must in my opinion. A great atmosphere with live music and a great set up. The food itself is just ok. The burgers are good but in my opinion come here for the drinks, music and atmosphere!

Must stop every time we go to St John. Hamburgers are the bomb. Sometimes it takes a little longer to get your food but relax. It’s worth it See you next trip. Thanks

Hyped up a little too much. GREAT drinks, average burger. More of a touristy spot in my opinion. Should be just a bar that serves food instead of a restaurant. Staff was nice. I was just underwhelmed by the food. def stop buy and have the drinks. Both my wife and I where very please with their cocktails.

Very happy with experience! My husband and I split the Bleu burger($ 12). Watching the delicious looking salads go by we asked if we could get that instead of chips for our side. She said our plate was made already but gave us a side salad for the same price as a salad replacing chips. The salad was fresh and crisp. I had the homemade blue cheese dressing and it was teriffic. My husband was equally pleased with his thousand island dressing. The burger was very flavorful. We ordered it medium well because we found things have been undercooked on this trip. We could have gone medium. It was a little dry but yummy! There was a generous amount of lettuce, onion, tomatoes and pickles on the side and a large slathering of Bleu cheese on the top. I had the local ipa and it was $ 4 a bottle. Very reasonable. I wanted to try their rum drinks because they looked so good! Next time! Very reasonable, nice atmosphere great service. We ate at the bar and the bartender was wonderful. I wish I had gotten her name! Lunch for burger, salad, 2 beers and a soda was $ 25.50. Great place. Great value!

Party of 6 ate here 3 different days. Had mahi sandwich, philly cheesesteak special, burgers, and dogs. No complaints from any of our party. Best piña colada on the island!

Great place to sit back and relax… Watch a little sports on the tv and grab a burger and a beer. Best key lime pie on the island… And I tried a lot of places!

Food great & sinple, staff was super friendly & knowledgeable about the island.(We had some questions about a couple hiking paths)

Went here on a recommendation from a friend, not knowing what it was. There is no view and tricky parking if busy(thats why i removed a star), but the food is tasty. At first we saw the menu and were both like«why are we in the Caribbean at a burger joint?» but then we ordered one and it was delish. I ALWAYS prefer a wheat bun and it seems like they only have white(although I didn’t ask for wheat). It was particularly busy during our visit so it took a little time to get our burger, but the servers did seems to be keeping on top with it. Go here for a good burger if you’re craving it… but if we went back to the island, we would focus more on food trucks.

Great local coral bay burger place and bar. Food was good and so was the service. I loved the live music they had on the thurs night I went. Great place to stop in for dinner after coming off a day at the beach.

They’ll tell you a million times that they don’t have a fryer or blenders, so I figured I would note that first. It’s surrounded by shops, which are a bit touristy and cheesy, but they do have some useful things you might need.(I forgot croakies at home and found them here for example.) The beer is cold and the people are friendly. The service is a little slow, but not really that bad at all. There’s a few sandwiches, salads, and such on the menu, of which the sandwiches are quite good, but the burgers are amazing. Some people complain that they’re over-cooked. If you’re afraid of that, I would recommend getting it on the rare side. They have a bunch of options, plus a few daily specials, all of which are delicious. The given side is chips, which is nothing special. If you go ahead and get the salad instead, you get a huge serving of salad with your burger. Sure, it’s not exciting, but in my mind it helped balance out the beer and burger, at least in my mind.

This place is a great bar. If you are looking for a stop in for beers and bar food, check it out. I really wanted the food to be better, because this was really the only restaurant within walking distance from our rental house. It was OK. The beer was cold, can’t complain, and the salads I had with blackened fish atop were good. The fish was fresh. Perfect. I just would have liked to have a few more choices besides burgers while I was on the island this week. That said, this place has shopping in the front, and is a great place to grab some STJ paraphernalia then eat. The staff was OK, but this was kind of the case all over the island. No one was super happy to be serving — and I get it. I’d rather be surfing too. After a long day of hiking and snorkeling, it was just fine.

Proudly blender free! Proudly fry-o-later free! Proudly overrun with merch. Proudly over-cooking your burger. :\ I get island time and laid back like a what, I do. And I get the vibe at Skinny Legs, and I like that vibe. But some folks don’t(at least, not entirely) and I don’t get when these folks get the royal razzing because they’re unaware the bar doesn’t brew coffee. Coladas deliver the cool and creamy even when solely served on the rocks, and the daily burger special(they’re known for their hand packed patties) will entice you. On our venture, 8oz of beef blistering with jerk spice and topped by Swiss, jalapeños and a slice of canned pineapple. Canned? Either that, or sweating itself in a lexan for a few days — ’twas not the freshest. Chips on the side, ruffled like your feathers after you realize«medium rare» in Skinny talk is near well done. Not just mine, either; all but one burg were ferociously over temp. A half dozen options run $ 12 – 14. TVs irreverent, kids welcome, and the big tables turn communal when it’s busy. And it’s busy, for decent Americanized grub, cold cheapies and a cornucopia of USVI apparel will always draw the crowds.

Blue cheese burger and«the works.» I can’t begin to explain how satisfied my palette was when i took my first bite into this burger. I now buy-in to the theory that this restaurant has the best burgers on the island. If you are going to do something make sure you do it right and Skinny Leg’s is living by that mantra. As others have mentioned you won’t find fries or even a deeper fryer in this place. It’s pretty big and resembles that of an outdoor sports bar with a few small shops around it. I wish I got here more than once to try a different style burger but happy that I got the first experience.

This is the go-to place for burgers on the island. This is an outdoor bar which truly is like a BBQ. You are sitting at picnic tables, the drinks are flowing, and someone is always playing a game of horseshoe in the back. On the weekends they have music which can be heard from far away. The staff are friendly and the burgers, although a tad pricey, are very tasty and they come with chips, not fries. The drinks are strong-I even had to ask for some extra juice which is out of the ordinary for me! There are a few gift shops there, but beware-very pricey, way more expensive than even the airport. It’s a fun feel though and worth stopping by for lunch or dinner.

Skinny Legs is exactly what I needed after a series of fine dining escapades that left me hungry and feeling ripped off. The ambiance is perfect if you’ve got the right mindset: like Gilligan’s Island meets the cast of Survivor. There is no pretense here, and that’s refreshing. Sand is everywhere, feral donkeys congregate outside waiting for hand outs, locals getting blitzed at the bar bark at the TVs during sports games. I had a delish BBQ/blue cheese burger that was so right. Fries were perfect: hot, crispy, just enough salt. Incidentally, that’s no small feat. I give a failing grade to many more uppity joints advertising this home-spun side dish simply because the fries are crap. This is the right place to decompress, get out of congested Cruz Bay, see locals in action and get a full belly without going broke. Not a bad deal, huh?

This place is a great spot to watch a football game and get a couple strong drinks. Be careful with the punch! The burgers are great and so are the Rubens. Bring bug spray and have water in the car. you will want a some for the ride home. those drinks creep up on you!

the blue cheese burger with grilled onions and mushrooms is a deliciously messy feast and I cant really bring myself to explore the rest of the menu because i love that burger so much. Great live music. No blended drinks so dont attempt to order a frozen margarita. I keep forgetting this and feeling dumb for it.
