So delish! The pizza is similar to New York style pizza. I believe the owner is from NYC. Great value and HUGE slices. This pizza won’t disappoint.

We’ve been in St. Thomas and St. John for about a week — we’re sunburnt and have snorkeled more than I can ever remember. We’re staying at the Marriott and the first thing our boys asked for was to never eat on property — local only. So, after eating mahi mahi for 5 straight days, we were ready for pizza. Pizza Amoré is about 5 min from Frenchman’s reef and definitely in the tourist zone for the boat people. However — we were delightfully surprised! Nice authentic place — old metal signs on the walls, natural wood tables — plain and clean. Pizza prices were excellent — a slice for $ 3.25! We got a slice of cheese, a slice of veggie, and a 18″ Hawaiian. Pizza was excellent — piping hot out of the oven, the Hawaiian was exceptional — plenty of cheese, nice chunks of pineapple and ham — the kids loved it. I ordered the cheese and veggie — the cheese slice is the standard by which pizza must be judged: excellent, lots of cheese, foldable, crust is a bit crispy(compared to the NYC standard) and perfectly sized. The veggie was amazing — I think I got several days worth of vegetable servings in that one slice. So — if you are staying around Charlotte Amalie and want a good slice, this is a good call.

The original slice could have used more sauce — too much topping, comparatively. I was chewing on just cheese for a bit, felt like Chicago deep dish. Service is fast, and they take credit cards with no minimum so that was great. Island ale was great, and with the original slice and island ale it came up to something like $ 9.50 which was pricier than I expected(the slices are 5.50 each). But it was a good quick meal, in and out in less than 20 min.

This is probably the best pizza on the island. My husband and I moved here a few months ago and have eaten lots of pizza but prefer Pizza Amore. The service has always been great. You can call in orders and pick up– parking can be tricky but if your just grabbing a pick up you can park on the sidewalk/on the side of the road. Also, if it’s after Havensight closes down, you can park there and walk across the street. We usually grab a 16 inch for the two of us which leaves a couple extra pieces for my breakfast :) they have beer, wine, and sodas. Also, they will provide paper plates and napkins(sometimes they ask if you want and other times they don’t). If you’re craving good pizza, you should stop in.

Stumbled across this corner spot. Good pizza by the slice or whole pie the choice is yours. The pepperoni and sausage was yummy.

Absolutely LOVE the Italian Hero sandwich! Served hot from the oven with pickle slices, this sandwich is the bomb! It’s what keeps me coming back.

We have eaten here twice. The pizza is soooo good! Its like a small mom and pop hole in the wall kinda place but the pie speaks for itself with no excuses. Picked up a large sausage and black olive pizza and took to a friends movie night out on the island and he was pleasantly surprised how delicious this pie is! So i do recommend this Pizza Amore to you and your friends its all about the Pie no fufu brewery just regular beers but sometimes Simple and staying true to ones roots are the way to go!

I’ve eaten pizza here for as long as i can remember. They sell New York style thin crust pizza, pizones, sandwiches subs and a few other things. I’ve really only ever had their pizza and I love it. Its always freshly made with fresh ingredients and great service. Great spot for families. But like the other reviewer said, don’t expect to have food in hand and out the door quickly. Everything is prepared with care and made on island time. I left home 7 years ago, I try to go home once a years and i make a habit on stopping by at least one during my visits.

Finding good places to dine on the island isn’t as easy as you might expect. While here with my family we decided on a pizza night and were told to try PIzza Amore. The place was very busy and populated mostly with locals which is typically a good sign. They shop is definitely on «Island Time» so Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry. The pizza was big and it was pretty good as well — not great — but good. The owner and chef was on site and was very friendly. If you are looking for a good slice and have time to kill, check out Pizza Amore.

This is my favorite pizza on St. Thomas. Sure I get a craving for other pies, but this is the one I always come back to and enjoy the most. Still has reasonably priced slices after all this time and they really pile on the toppings. They also make some great hot sandwiches.
