Typically, you would never see me in a restaurant admitting to be vegetarian but after a week of nothing but beef I decided to make an exception. At lunchtime the items available looked like they had been sitting out for days. There was no way I was wasting a meal on crusty food off a steam table. The building is painted in grand letters saying«helado» but when requested they looked at us like we were insane. After all was said and done we left without ordering anything.

This my favorite vegetarian spot in town, nice fresh food with a very creative menu to choose from!

Bright and cheery little eatery. Food is mostly vegetarian and served hot from the steam table. Has pizza, quiche, filled buns, rice and wheat noodle stir fries, vegetable stir fries, and tofu. Supposedly there are dishes with fish, but the two times I stopped by, it was either too early or too late and I missed it. Prices are based on weight. Plate charge for dining in. It’s a percentage, but I forget what that percentage is. It’s a lighter, healthier(and less expensive) change from the meat and seafood based restaurants. The side wall is a mini-market selling asian products, like Lee Kum Kee soy sauce and other sauces, instant noodles, and disposable chop sticks.
