We stopped here for lunch after a private tour of the Bodega Tapiz. Despite a reservation snafu(they had us down for one month later!), they got us seated and we were treated to an amazing dining experience. Obviously the wine list was fantastic, even if not as lengthy as restaurants not tied to one bodega. We had a bottle of the Black Tears from Bodega Tapiz and it was outstanding. For lunch they offered a four course meal with two or three options for each course. My wife and I each chose different option so as to be able to taste twice a many dishes. From start to finish it was exceptional. Not only were the flavor profiles well conceived, the plating and presentation was superb. While not normally a big fan of desserts(I prefer my sugar fermented!), the pineapple carpaccio with marscapone cheese was out of this world. They also make their own olive oil on-site. The service was also extraordinary. It was a delicious yet peaceful meal in a laid back and picturesque atmosphere. If you are touring wineries in the area you should definitely try to get a reservation here for lunch.
