Great views but average experience really. I think the price is not worth what your get when your up the top.

Telstra tower (now called «Black Mountain Tower») has a great view of the surrounding region. Inside the base of the tower there is a model of the tower describing what each segment provides or houses.
The observation area is 195m above the summit of Black Mountain and includes two open air areas, and an enclosed space. Access to the observation deck is $ 7.50 for an adult. There is also a kiosk, restaurant and gift shop.
We didn’t go up on this occasion and instead chose to have some of our beverages at one of the nearby picnic/​lookout areas.
There are a number of walks through the bushland surrounding the tower, and multiple lookouts providing a good location to sit and watch the sun rise/​set (all free!).
