These guys LOVE their computers. And I love guys that love their computers, ’cause I’ve never loved my computers. I’ve been angry at my computers. I’ve even said(though I didn’t mean it) that I hated my computers. I’ve several times threatened too throw my computers our of the second storey window. But I just went in to buy a USB. Which I did. But I didn’t think the purchase was enough to properly give a review credibility. So I tried to start chatting to the guy serving me. There wasn’t anyone else in the store, at the time(it was midday), so he didn’t have any qualms about talking. He started to give me free advice, like how often I should defragment and deformat my computer. And then we breached over into the topic of computer games, and we started to swap stores and(virtual) experience. I started to get so into the conversation that I’d forgotten why I started it in the first place. And hell, I even learned some things. These guys love their computers. That’s all there is to say, really. That’s the kind of people you want to leave your expensive equipment with, and at the Adelaide Computer Superstore, that’s precisely what you’re doing.

This superstore lived up to its name when it provided a free service to us. I was left frustrated and perplexed when my one-month-old laptop began to slow down, with delayed reactions to whatever I typed. The scroll-down commands were also not working as they should. Unable to get through to the computer call centre, my partner took the laptop to Adelaide Computer Superstore. The assistant had a quick look at it, found the problem and fixed it there and then. He refused to take any money for the service. My partner bought the Microsoft Office Home and Student software package from the store. The company sells everything from printers and scanners to MP3 players and USBs, and everything in between. The store is open Monday to Friday from 9am-5.30pm and Saturdays from10am-2pm. It’s closed on Sundays.
