Food seemed pre made. Eggs served cold, bacon served cold, salmon was not fresh. Greeted straight away, friendly service. 5 min wait before we were served. Table we sat on was not clean. Good atmosphere. Dirty café(witnessed flies). 2⁄5

I love this place set in the Gasworks complex. They have a great outdoor area adjacent to the park where people can take their dogs and have a coffee or something to eat. Since being taken over by the current managers it has improved dramatically. Also if you’ve ever wanted green fingers get your coffee in a takeaway cup.

Super friendly waitress, very reasonably priced menu. The frittata I had was huge, served with spicy chutney and side salad, all washed down with a glass of Brown Brothers Shiraz, very nice. They make a good coffee too. Bring your fur baby too, great place for them to have a play and socialize.

I really really really enjoyed this café — and as a father of young kids, it makes it even more enjoyable: Firstly, as an adult, its a lovely café with very very good food. Its very easy to find parking and the parking is free also! Being part of the Gasworks Theatre Complex and Gasworks Park, you meet heaps of people with dogs and there is a great outdoor area out the back — all of which adds to a nice café experience. Secondly, as a parent, the dog factor is massive when it comes to keeping little kids entertained. The fact that there are so many people with dogs, means that the kids have something to do(patting peoples dogs and getting licked and sniffed by them). The other thing which I really liked was that the full length windows had a little step type thing under them meaning that my kids could climb around them along the whole wall — and since they are made of glass, I could see the kids through them! The fact that the park is next door is absolutely perfect too — and after a babycino, the kids can burn it all off with a big run around and a climb on the modern artwork sculptures! What more could you want in a café!!! I will certainly come back to this place if I am in the area!

Was drafted via apple maps to this Queen of the Albert Park Desert. Not really impressed. Piccolo was sour and service was rather indignant. Shame, as it cohabits with the Gasworks theatre.

The Choc Mint Slice is a «Must have!», but it is not always available so make sure to ask.

Priscilla Jones opened about two months ago, and already it’s a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. It’s open from 7:30am! Annexed to the Gasworks park theatre and it’s arts faculty thingy, Priscilla Jones is THE café destination for those at the gasworks park. Expect to encounter dog-walkers, families, kids, friendly staff and business types during the weekdays. P J’s makes for a great pit stop after a nice walk around the gardens or whatever else one has in mind at the gasworks. Farmer markets are held at the gasworks monthly; so this gives more than one reason to check out this little venture. It’s licensed too, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or two, after exploring the surrounds. As for the café itself, seating is both in and outside, with equally weighed seating options. A full menu is available, and they host Events/funtions too. Sweet baked treats are available as with tea and coffee. I shall not definitively say cakes, or pastries, because they don’t specifically stick to one thing only. Awesome brownies! There are also great and wide ranging lunching options, more than enough to keep one satisfied and sated, and cold drinks to go. A café, an eatery that is a little bit more upmarket, with great views of the park when siting outside, and some great food! See you there soon!
