Milk Cloud

Coffees were good but it was very busy, so we had to wait 10 – 15 for our take away coffees. Would most likely be nicer if we were sitting down and having a bite. Lots of customers means it’s most likely very good!

I have been to milk cloud numerous times as it is my sisters local. Excellent food and excellent coffee. Not overly kid friendly which is a shame but they definitely make up for it food wise.
I always order the corn stack with avocado and relish– it is simply divine.
If your in the area you should definitely go in!

Astonished that the High Street shops at the end of the Ashy Dasher has this gem of a café. The coffee is good. I mean REALLY good. Check it out soon.

«There is no greater combination of three words than All Day Breakfast,» a dear friend announced as we entered Milk Cloud. Of course, the phrase could be applied to pretty much any café worth its salt in Melbourne, but as it was uttered here I feel it should be attributed accurately.
He ordered a big fryup, I ordered my usual coffee. His came laden with bacon, hash brown, spinach, mushroom, eggs, toast. You know, the fry up. I cursed myself that I’d already eaten (this café has the other three word phrase that lightens up my day: «Gluten Free Available») and I watched his orangey egg yolks dribble all over the plate drooling a little.
There’s a nice trend I’m noticing in cafes at the moment to make sure that any coffee (especially if it’s a weird request) comes looking as aesthetically pleasing as it tastes. Actually, sometimes it looks far better than it tastes, but this isn’t the point right now. Good coffee, nicely presented.
Place looks good too, there’s a huge cartoon map of Ashburton on the wall that’s fun to look at whilst waiting for food.
