In the two years since my last visit, a number of changes have taken place in the towns great Café/Restaurant scene, New places have opened, one has burnt down. I found Utopia on Byron St is still popular as the last time we called. Utopia is modern, spacious, elegant and comfortable, The Di Bella coffee was smooth, an excellent range of light food is available, with friendly service, what more can you ask for when wanting a caffeine shot, a chat, time out, or just to catch up with the news (papers provided), will return.

Really lovely breakfast menu and they cater for vegetarian and gluten free, which gives my heart delight. There was not a variety of meals available with that combination, but if you are vego it’s awesome and if you are gluten free they do have a variety of dishes that you will want to taste! Coffee took a bit longer than expected to come out and the bean was Di Bella, so maybe a 3.5 for coffee. But I believe the food is the main focus for this place.

Spacious, long café with high ceilings. Contemporary, bright décor. Coffee was good as wad the service. Food menu has plenty of choices including free range eggs and gluten free options.
We ate breakfast and it came out quickly. Ingredients were fresh and the dishes nicely presented. They all tasted great.
No free wi-fi and not all credits cards accepted at the time we went.
