After visiting Benos this morning I thought we were there for breakfast, it turned out to be brunch. Let me say that my wife and I were prepared to give the restaurant a go as it recently changed hands. We were offered no water, the other tables were and they were not that busy. It took close to 45 minutes for our meals to come and they were very disappointing. Eggs were tiny and poorly cooked and presented. If the eggs lose volume dont hide it behind the other. No pepper offered but this was clearly on offer. No butter for the toast but this was also on offer to other customers. Bacon was obviously prepared on a dirty hot plate, black grease on the plate. They were very slow with not a lot of customers. Not going back.

Nice food. Have had many a coffee and cake here and always nice. Dinners have a good selection with good sized portions.

A quick drop in for a light dinner, I thought I’d give it a try. As breakfasts go, Beno’s was ok, but not one I’d ever do again. For a light dinner, in a pinch, it’ll do.
