Paws of Distinction

Every year about this time duck hunter needs a really close clip. He’s had 3 years in his life where grass seeds have penetrated his skin and not only are they painful for him, the vet bill is a stinger too.
LuvDog (Kris) is trying to move the bulk of her mobile clients to a salon, and she’s recently opened up on Magill Road. She has a few finishing touches to … finish… but the salon is clean with a terrific outdoorsy fit out with mini orb and timber.
Duck hunter doesn’t protest too much, but he really doesn’t like the whole clipping routine, so I try and keep it as short as possible by omitting the bath (and therefore the hair dryer). Kris was straight into the shearing, and as a medium dog she gave him plenty of attention and it took about 50 minutes.
Kris is a professional operator with several years behind her as a tow along salon, and has a tender, calming approach. I’d recommend giving this new salon a try.
