Word of mouth is the way in which That’s Not Garbage got to be discovered by many a arty crafty soul, who drove from miles away just to have a rummage and of course find a bargain. But boy are there some handy discarded industrial oddments to find, more often than not off cuts, incorrect sizes made, surplus stock from wherever, etc. As they say ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’. This place always(in a small, strange way — don’t ask why) reminds me of the movie Mad Max, where the gyro copter pilot(Stork) finds bits and pieces to repair his chopper. A fantastic place for your imagination to run wild with possibilities and make your dreams and ideas reality. It’s an excellent recycling venture by the owner who has come up with a novel idea and turned someone else’s trash into their treasure.
