My favourite sushi train, always busy and some time you have to line up a bit — but proves its popular and always fresh ;) They are so friendly when you come in, always welcoming you. Service is quick, getting your drink and any orders quickly. The sushi on the train is always fresh and warm(gyozas). I always get sashimi and a prawn roll which are consistently good. You can order as well, any of your preferences or edamame or tofu or udon meals. Always a good experience. when you leave they are so enthusiastically saying«thank you so so much». Easily found near Westfield. They do points for discounts etc as well.

I’ve been here a few times for sushiand the quality is quite good! Recently I ordered the mix sushi platter for $ 60 which had an excellent assortment of cooked fish, raw fish, tempura fish, chicken, beef and much more! They also offer free delivery if you live close by!

OMG! I’m personally a huge fan! I used to live 2 blocks away, and I would eat here at least twice a week — for lunch or an early dinner. It sucks that you have to line up outside on peak hours waiting for a seat, but when you do, I just didn’t want to stop eating the Chicken & Avocado nigiri. Yum!

Looks like any other Sushi Train. The wait normally suggests something is right; and in this case it’s the flavorsome, fresh and well executed sushi — first time here — I’ll be back

Waiting outside in the queue is normal for this Sushi train, which is strange as there are at least 4 sushi train style restaurants in the Bondi Junction area. If you’re prepared to wait, use the time to choose what you’ll be eating once you’re inside. This is a very busy place, and therefore it’s not as relaxing as the café style read a book and have a long lunch places dotted around Sydney. I’d prefer the slow vibe. Although the Sushi is delicious, and very fresh, Sushi train has a bit of a corporate feel, it’s clinical, and fast paced, where all the staff always look frazzled and stressed by the amount of people. If you’re looking for a slower vibe try Sushi Express( ) ironically less fast paced than Sushi train, and somewhat better sushi I think. Otherwise if you’re in for a few minutes, and want to demolish as much sushi as possible in this short time, once you’re in Sushi train is your best bet.

Unless it’s your lucky day, expect to wait in one helluva line for this bustling Spring Street sushi joint. There are plenty of other sushi options around here, but this place is the punters’ pick. My creature of habit tendencies usually have me reaching for the tuna or chicken schniddy and avo sushi, but I’m trying to snap out of that. Cheap, cheerful, fast(once you’re navigated the line-up). You can get out of here for 10 to 15 bucks if you don’t go overboard. Your own serve of fresh wasabi is always a plus… no contaminated communal pots here. Fried karaage chicken is more of a protein hit, and the grilled salmon, or gilled scallop nigiri are a must for fish fans. Staff are super sweet and speedy. There are those handy hooks to hang your bags on — great if you’ve been shopping up a storm at Westfield. If you’ve really worked up a sushi craving, but the line’s too long, get it to go, wonder up the road to Centennial Park and create an instant Oriental picnic.

There must almost be more sushi restaurants than coffee shops in Sydney, which is saying something. I was recommended to try this one in Bondi Junction, and when I turned up, I could see that I hadn’t been the only one. There was a substantial queue forming outside the shop, as people longingly gazed in to see the delicious fishy morsels circulate on the conveyor belt. I was relieved, however, that the queue was only to eat-in, and if I wanted to take-away, I could take my pick of sushi now. So that is what I chose to do. Being a bit of a sushi novice, I didn’t really know what to do or what to choose, as all these little dishes whizzed past. Luckily, a charming waitress was there to help me — she told me what each of the delicate parcels contained, and which her favourites were. OK, I thought, flexing my fingers, what shall I grab? I had a budget of $ 11(all that was in my pocket), but I was amazed that I could afford a bundle of edamame beans, six mini tempura chicken rolls and six mini salmon and avocado rolls. A feast for lunch. The sushi was delicious — I particularly enjoyed the salmon and avocado. I think next time, I would be tempted to join the queue and sit down in the restaurant. They had some delicious-looking tempura asparagus and some tuna rolls that I would love to try. Visiting this restaurant is therefore a matter of timing — make sure you join the queue before you get too ravenous.
