I love this place! Caught in the CBD on a stormy afternoon with no public transport to carry us home, my workmate and I ventured in intially for an ale or two before heading home. We ended up staying for a few more ales, a great selection of craft beers on tap and pretty sure we tried most, if not all of the specials. As the sky turned dark with alamrs still ringing in the distance from building that had received some damage, we decided to have dinner. I had the beef burger and fries. This was a melt in my mouth kind of burger, with the tastiest fresh cut fries with the right amount of crunch and fluffy goodness. We shared a bottle of shiraz(the name escapes me now — possibly because my memory was slightly blurred with previous ales). The shiraz was smooth and went well with dinner and the cheese that came afterwards. The cheeses were amazingly tasty! The staff were friendly and helpful and happy to chat about the interesting selection of beverages, some of which are packed in exotic shaped bottles and all come with a bit of a story. I am hoping for a solid storm season to give me more excuses to stop in at Jeremy’s.

Good spot! Dan treated us very well and provided a great overview of the craft beers Australia has to offer. The place has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, and appeals strongly to the beer enthusiast’s palate.

Go here! This is a great little hidden gem of one of the best restaurants in Brisbane. The owner Jeremy, go figure is extremely hospitable and is a master at what he does. The chef provides amazing food with very ecstatic plates. This is a good place to find great local craft beer and other fun imports.

I’ve walked by Jeremy’s on Albert Street hundreds of times and wondered what type of restaurant it is. It’s in an unusual spot, down by skate shops and 7-Elevens but looks like quite a nice place. Stepping inside there is a definite French bistro feel to with with red chairs and white linen tablecloths on the tables. It’s quite cosy, but I was a bit disappointed to be seated in the worst seat in the restaurant when meeting a friend for lunch. I mean, there was an almost empty restaurant and I am put on the smallest table tucked down the side? What’s up with that. While the menu is interesting, the delivery fell quite short of promise, but what was worse was my dining companions main was delivered with beetroot, after clearly requesting the not occur. After the disappointing mains, we decided to skip dessert

A favourite spot for breakfast — very much reminds me of home(Melbourne). Prices are very reasonable, and I think you’ll find that you will get greater value in terms of quality and service. The Hollandaise was absolutely delicious — I had the dish served with a sausage and poached eggs on toast with caramelised onions. The coffee was good but seemed a little bitter for my taste. Was very professionally made though. Drop by it if you’re in Brisbane city.

In a mean, mad city, there has always been Jeremy’s. Before the city had little hole-in-the-wall coffee shops on every other street, there was Jeremy’s. When those little coffee shops aren’t open on Saturdays, still… there is Jeremy’s. Okay, so Jeremy’s isn’t open on Sundays but it’s still better than nothing when you’re in the CBD on a weekend. I’ve had a number of group breakfasts at Jeremy’s and I’ve had one solo flight dinner at Jeremy’s. All have been great, some breakfasts better than others — I was first taken here by a friend who was addicted to the blue cheese omelette. I think it may still even be on the menu… My dinner in particular stood out for me as my first proper«dining alone in my own city» adventure — the service(and food itself) was a dream, and I sat in the window seat in the corner that I’d so often considered for breakfasts(though we always sit outside for breakfast). I will always drink the signature Jeremy coffee when I visit Jeremy’s, even though it’s just a ¾ flat white with only a splash of milk(almost a long macc, I guess?). I think I just like going to Jeremy’s and saying«gimme a Jeremy». I mean, what else would you get at a place called Jeremy’s? It’s pretty obvious that asking for a Jeremy is sensible.

I have been going through a «delicious coffee shops» roll and I am surprised that i nearly forgot about Jeremy’s. Whoops! Jeremy’s is yet another«must visit» café for any coffee enthusiasts. The café itself has a very intimate feel, it is dimly lit and has an almost«jazz» look to it. The wait staff has been great every time I have been here; quick, friendly and efficient. The coffee here is very smooth and rich and the baristas know how to make the milk frothy and velvety. If you are a fan of good coffee, I would suggest you try Jeremy’s.

Jeremy’s is a staple for delicious, wholesome breakfasts, served up with a strong, silky coffee. The staff here are fantastic; they greet you, seat you and water you up before you even managed to take the place in. We were seated in a tucked away table toward the back of the restaurant, which was perfect is it was quiet and provided ample opportunity to watch the waiters go through their motions with the other guests. However, we quickly decided that this was severely wasting our time, as a brief glance at the menu told us that deciding what to have to breakfast was going to take some time(the menu is two pages long). Pretty much every menu item was begging to be ordered — ranging from an eggs Florentine with smoked salmon, wilted spinach and chive hollandaise through to grilled banana bread with violet crumble, mascarpone cheese and maple syrup. Particularly intrigued by mouth-watering aroma wafting over to us from a neighbouring table, we deduced that they had ordered the«posh» baked beans, complete with melted cheese, chorizo, tomatoes and crusty bread. Posh indeed — these clearly were not the tinned variety. Despite being enticed by a unique menu, I settled for a regular serve of poached eggs with smoked bacon and slow roasted tomatoes served on sourdough. The eggs burst as soon as my knife touched them and oozed perfectly across the soft sourdough. The tomatoes were deliciously sweet, and the smoked bacon was just that — smoky and crisp. I highly recommend checking this place out for breakfast. Having walked past at night time, it exudes a romantic candle-lit feel, so it’s worth checking out for dinner, and lunch as well. Just a heads up — it’s closed for lunch on Saturdays and closed all day Sunday.
