I rocked up here just a couple minutes before closing time and the lady working was nice enough to hang around :) I always get these crazy ideas when I try to get a juice or a smoothie. I can never just order one of their sure-fire winners… I have to get all holier than thou and attempt to make my own fancy pants drink. I opted for a juice and I asked for her opinion, even though, let’s face it… I wouldn’t listen even if she said it would taste awful. So my brilliant plan was kale, lime, watermelon and ginger. I was like is that too much going on? Should I swap watermelon for grape? She finally just said why don’t I put a bit of each in. I said ok, you make the call — you know better than I do… or did she? She totally did. I have no idea what ratios she used but my juice was FINALLY a winner! I was so pleased with my juice, and thus my Raw n’ Juicy experience. They have an acai coffee smoothie(and just acai coffee) that I’d like to get back to try in the near future.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and truly fresh! For a first visitor walk in confident that if you didn’t get right in the first shot, there is always a right answer for you waiting. Firstly I had my eyes on the healthy smoothie, little that I knew it didn’t taste as what I was after. As soon as approached the cashier with my drink they afford me another drink matches my desire free of charge of course with the option of changing it once again if I didn’t agree with their choice. Excellent strategy, what else can I ask on the side of fresh fruit and vitamins than the right attitudes. They won me over as a regular costumer and perfect reputation spreading from my side. I rate It 5.

Something happened to me while I was in the US. Something addictive. Something green and cold pressed. It gave me a burst of energy. My cravings for carbs almost gone. Coffee? Pfft. Who needs it. I was introduced to cold press juice and fell hard for my morning green hit. I lamented there was nothing like this«back home in Brisbane.» And as if the juice fairy heard my wishes, Raw ‘n Juicy opened with their nutritionist-crafted menu, cold press juices($ 6.95 for a small) and a curious Buchi drink(fermented tea) which I’m ordering a bottle of. Did I mention I’m a sucker for packaging? I ordered the«Refresher» juice which combined apple, lime, celery, cucumber and mint in seemingly perfect ratio. All too often I’m put off fresh vegetable juices for the icky dirt taste that remains. I’m ecstatic to report there was none in my first, of what I’m sure will turn into many, juices at Raw. Well played, Brisbane, well played.
