The House Of Windsor is no longer based in Windsor, instead it has moved to classy James Street in Fortitude Valley — which I think is perfect for this lovely handmade hat and headwear store.
The stock both ready-​made and hand-​made hats and headwear. You can bring your outfit in to get your custom headwear made to match.
They specialise in Bridal, Race and Evening accessories — hates, hair/​head pieces and jewellery.

I truly love hats — but I hate hat hair, so the only solution is to wear a hat that’s not meant to be taken off.
The House of Windsor specialises in delightfully frothy confections that are definitely not for gardening (or even for keeping the sun off in most cases). This store is a proper milliners, of the class of Georgian England, and if you want to stand out from the crowd at your next function you should visit here.
Of course, racing season is big business for a shop this proficient in the arena of headwear, however think outside the box a little and wear a fascinator or head piece to your next special occasion. Yes it’s a bit pricey, but it’s pure luxury so what did you expect?
