Mocha could be a little heavier on the chocolate side. It was also made a little too hot.

I have the admit: I only come here to meet up with the husband during one of his work breaks. And for the blended fusions. It’s hard enough for me to find my ‘ideal’ iced coffee but when I first encountered a Zarraffa joint, I internally squealed with delight. Their blended fusions are akin to Starbucks’ frappes. I order mine without the whip crème on top(hey, at least I can pretend I’m cutting out the calories!) I like the staff here, they have been pleasant. This location has several seats inside(booth style) and outside, so feel free to hang up your shopping bags and start up your laptop here. Or even pursue one of the newspaper they have available near the back.

Zarraffa’s on Albert St is my lunch time coffee stop as it’s right near my office in the CBD. As far as big chain type coffee places go, Zarraffa’s are my first choice in all occasions. They have tasty cookies, yummy toasties, excellent little tarts and their coffee rarely disappoints. I find the staff at this particular location to be excellent. They know me by name, always remember my order and the manager always has a little chat when I stop by. The only reason that Zarraffa’s doesn’t get 5 stars from me is that I do prefer Campos coffee — however there isn’t any near my office!

Oh, hello. You’re looking great today. A lovely frothy head, a fantastic aroma, smooth texture, and gosh you’re so hot and came to me so fast. Yes, you are a Zarraffa’s coffe. A tall skinny caramel latte to be precise. And so good on those chilly/lazy/early weekday mornings. Yes. I don’t find anything as good as little independent coffee shops — but if I’m going to go chain Zarraffa’s is the way. Good service, good little foods available(if you’re willing to spend), and nice coffee. Open nice and early, and in a central location. Space to sit inside or out, or takeaway if you prefer. Go on, give it a try.
