There’s a conspiracy out there. I just performed a nominal Google Search to find out if fruit is indeed stored in barns. The results were inconclusive. Even the image search only brought pictures of the fruit barn retail concept: green receptacles holding fruit everywhere, usually a cold area with a selection of salads(technically not fruit, but in the face of this conspiracy, we’ll let it slide), and a selection of bread items. Is it possible that the whole concept of a ‘fruit barn’ is some elaborate marketing scheme designed to make us think of bounties of fruit stored and waiting transference to our tastebuds? Chilling. At any rate, this is indeed a fruit barn with plentiful produce options. I mainly pop in here to grab some Lebanese bread(sometimes the plastic bag is foggy, the bread is so fresh that it’s still warm) and usually some salad. Definitely a better option than the supermarket: fresher produce, pop in for two minutes, in and out, and you don’t have to fight the temptation to purchase a packet of pork rinds while you’re there.
