See my pic of butter chicken, basmati rice, and garlic naan. While it obviously can’t convey much, the dish is truly worthy of the answer to the question: You are about to die, you fuck, what is the last meal you want to eat? They did not rush anything; you could tell that it was all cooked slowly and with care and pride. The naan was perfectly light and fluffy inside with great flavor, texture, and slightly crunchy outside that’s the hallmark of a well-conditioned tandoor oven. The very good quality chicken breast pieces also from the tandoor oven were tasty and tender with rich flavor, and bathed in one of the most creamy, luscious, and balanced butter chicken sauces that I’ve tasted.

Saw that an Indian restaurant had opened up in the Gungahlin town centre finally and decided to give it a try with some takeaway. We were not disappointed! The menu has a good selection of Indian favourites as well as dishes you don’t often see(including three goat dishes). Got a lamb, beef and dal and they were all very nicely spiced and flavoursome in their individual ways — nothing worse than when you get Indian and it all tastes vaguely the same. The service was pleasant and it didn’t take too long — about 20 minutes for a largish order. We’ll certainly be trying dining in next time!
