Excellent food, service and ambience once again. The sandwiches are to die for here, so big and filling. I got the bean with chipotle sandwich, filled me up and the flavour of the sandwich was excellent. Good prices as well, always come back here

Imagine your best friend, a bedroom guitarist and aspiring dungeon master who once auditioned for the lead role in Weird Science, decided to open a café restaurant bar slash punk record store in a shopfront residence they inherited from their crazy Aunt. Hearty food, pleasing selection of dranks, instant friends, surprisingly awesome.

Always satisfying. Strawberry mint thickshake is the bomb. They put up with the irritating alterations from me and my mate’s during the week. Pretty amazing.

A shortage of cafes in this area there is not. So to keep your spot you need to have what it takes. I think A Fan’s Notes has what it takes! It’s a funky open dining area with seats and a couch in the windows if you want to watch the world. The breakfast list includes dishes with the current ‘in’ foods like kale and smashed avocado and the sandwiches and baguettes are pretty rocking! On a recent visit I had the halloumi baguette with beetroot relish and grilled peppers– Yumo! My colleague had the potato croquettes with poached eggs, also great. The team are cool and the background music made it hard to leave.
