Me and the SO rocked up with me in crutches due to an accident that occurred after booking our tickets. The staff were quick to assist and very helpful in seating me. Food was good, better than expected. SO had the pork and absolutely loved it, I had salmon and found it very succulent and tasty. Sides of asparagus and potatoes perfectly cooked(something I rarely manage at home) Show was excellent, we had so much fun and went on to meet the performers afterwards. This is not a cheap and tacky show, the performers are all genuinely talented triple-threats with obvious years of experience behind them. Lots of silly, risqué fun, definitely worth the money. Definitely not suitable for any conservative stick-up-the-bum types but if you go and you are offended — you probably need it.

I took my little sister here for a fun girls night out, and we had an absolute blast. We went VIP and my sister loved her«old enough to be sucked» band, that she got after being carded. The Pork Belly was delicious and the chocolate coffin dessert was lovely. The staff are great and stick to their characters well. Our waiter even broke out a chainsaw and took one of the other waiters heads off. A great night and the VIP bonuses made great souvenirs of the night.

I have been to the QLD version of this franchise years ago and have tried and failed to see the Melbourne one, three times via fault of my own. I FINALLY managed to get in to see the show last night and took my three accompanying travelers(my fiancé and his parents) and the four of us left having thoroughly enjoying the whole kit and kaboodle. Having purchased standard tickets, we had FABOULOUS seating on the upper deck at the front but I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house. The meals themselves were not fine dining but we’re tasty and hit the spot. The show was very entertaining! Funny, clever and showed off the performer’s amazing talents. Everyone employed by the company is in costume and in character the whole evening. Our server was fun and gave my future-father-in-law a good rib tickling. Drinks are average to slightly higher than average but I do recommend the«Cyber Ghost» cocktail in a fishbowl. I think it was $ 48.00 but it’s delicious and having had two, it certainly added to the fun of the evening. The Ghost Train into the theatre is a must, quirky and good for a giggle. Officially a must-do experience in Melbourne.

Truth be told, I’m a fun-chaser! And quite well-versed in the ways I can have a memorable moment, such as dining with Count Dracula. Why I love this place: 1/Greeted by some some crazy, superb, and cheerful characters. 2/Wined at the Graveyard Cocktail Lounge. 3/Rode the ghost train. 4/Had a decent 3-course dinner at the Theatre of the Vampyre. 5/Thrilled by the interior of the haunted castle. 6/Horrified by the outstanding, two-hours of kinkily and spooky show. 7/Enjoyed the music of the 70s. 8/Conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne. 9/«Chocolate Coffin» for dessert. 10/«Australia’s longest-running and most successful theatre restaurant». OMG I absolutely loved this place! One of the best nights out my boyfriend and I have had! We got the normal ticket for $ 95.00 which includes ghost train ride, burlesque show and a three course meal. The action started from the line into the building with the staff entertaining us walking up and down the line. Once in the lobby we we’re told of the night, first drinks at the bar then to make our way through the ghost train then to find our assigned seats. The ghost train was hilarious and you even got to view photos and videos after. When being assigned our seating, we were put right at the front next to the stage. At first I was nervous as I knew we were going to be picked on but with some drinks I didn’t care ;) The performances were amazing, the staff always in character, the decorations were great and the food was pretty good considering it wasn’t an actual restaurant. After the show you can have drinks at the bar and meet the performers. I don’t want to give too much away but this is a must see if you visit Melbourne. I know I will be going back next time I’m there!

Meals were small but very tasty! Cocktails were $ 16 but worth getting one and get the jelly shots $ 10 each but they were awesome! Staff were rude but funny! The show is great, be prepared for girls just in undies most of the time. We got the standard tickets and the seats were fine we could still see everything. Overall it was a great night out full of laughs! It’s a bit pricey but u only go once! Give it a go

Well, my night at Dracula’s wasn’t half as painful as I thought it would be! Theatre restaurants aren’t the kind of thing that appeal to me — I figure go to a restaurant for dinner because food is what they do best and then head to the theatre for the entertainment, because that’s what they are experts in. Combining the two is risky — it’s hard to get both right — but Dracula’s did a pretty reasonable job. The food was nothing spectacular, but it was good and plentiful! Plus the more cocktails you drink, the better everything tastes. I thought I’d find the performance cringe-worthy, but it was quite tongue-in-cheek and I laughed out loud multiple times(again, the more cocktails you drink the funnier it gets). Totes props to the performers — they’re really high energy and interactive from the second you walk in until you leave. A totally daggy but fun night!

A visiting friend from overseas must have seen this place on the advertisements on the Skybus coming into the city, and absolutely insisted I take her there. I must say that I was pretty skeptical about a Cabaret Restaurant, and was expecting to see a pretty average night of entertainment. I consoled myself with the fact that I will at least be getting a three course feast for my $ 65. Entering the restaurant to be greeted by a ghoul who puts you on a ‘Ghost train’ I must admit I found quite entertaining. In fact I was blown away with the Cabaret performance in almost every way. It was a first class show. Sure it was cheesy — it is Cabaret after all. But the choreography was amazing and so were the performers. In fact, I was surprised to say that it was the food that I found highly disappointing. My vegetarian friend was given a bowl of sloppy Goulash as a main. Sure it was served in a skull bowl. But Goulash as a main. No dumplings to go with it or anything. And don’t get me started on the dessert which was made out of the worst most cheap tasting chocolate I have ever taken. This brings me to the service. The staff here were about as rude as it was possible to be. I think they were meant to be kind of brazen, as part of the performance and all –I don’t think ghouls are meant to be nice. But they made my friend cry with persistent bullying throughout the evening, as well as mortally offending the old couple seated next to me on their 50th wedding anniversary, when the waitress complained that the old lady was taking too much time to decide what to order and remarked how she didn’t have much time left in life. Overall it was a far better experience than I would have expected. And to be honest you don’t go to this kind of place for the food or the service. You go for the experience. And for that I give Draculas a big tick.

Fuck it! I keep tellin’ my lady I want to go to Dracula’s for my birthday and I keep getting knocked the fuck back. So I secretly ventured into the joint for a peek and now I want it even more. The whole concept of starving cabaret peeps and ‘emerging’ actors playing parts in this joint makes it all the more exciting. We went to heaps of Melbourne Festival shit this year and it’s all so polished. I want something a fuckin’ suburban drain layer would consider high art. Plus, I love Bram Stoker’s story. I’ve watched all the movies(there’s like 250 adaptations or some shit) and I’ve tolerated the nerd bashing that goes with being a 30 something horror movie buff. I want some fuckin’ vampire loving goddam it! And not of that puffy Buffy variety. Gimme. Gimme. Gimme!

Yay! I love a good themed dinner and show cabaret… Everything about Dracula’s is professional and the show starts from the minute you arrive. The waiters, the bartenders, the hosts and of course the actors in the show do not break character at all. It makes for a thoroughly entertaining evening. The food is decent, nothing special in my view, but you are not really coming for the food are you? Its all about the drinks and having a good time. Be sure to try a few of the ‘creepy’ cocktails though they will set you back. My favourite part of the evening? Having a really fun, different night out with my friends!

I came here to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday and it was an extremely enjoyable night. We arrived when doors opened, and the line was so long it even turned the corner down the street. We waited outside for about 15mins as the line was slowly shuffled into building by freaky gothed up looking men. When we got inside, we were locked in a small room where the host explained that we were here to be tortured and raped and ‘please no photography’. We then look a little 4person ghost train to the main area, this was a great plus and so much fun! I would have never guessed there would be a ride(though small) inside. The main area consists of a stage and long communal tables just below. Special reserve booths are available at the back. Food wise, its not that great(but you’re here for the show, the foods just something on the side). This was a great night out, the actors were hilarious, the songs were catchy and the staff were wonderful. Would definitely not be bringing kids here though as there are a lot of dirty jokes and swear words. At the end of the show you are invited to the bar to meet and greet the cast. Overall I had a wonderful time, I found myself in stitches laughing on numerous occasions.

Do you like silliness in your day-to-day life? I sure do! Which is why I headed to Dracula’s Cabaret Restaurant one summer-y Saturday night, for my very first theatre-restaurant experience. I was not disappointed. We were greeted by ghoulish hosts and waiters and led straight in to the bar for a shot that was served in a test tube. The show itself is fantastic — the performers are energetic, talented and hilarious. Be warned: the content is a little R-Rated but in a very light-hearted way. Dracula’s is not known for it’s food — so don’t expect too much in that department, but the service is fantastic, you’ve got to respect a waiter that dresses up as a corpse every night! We were served by the gorgeous Jack and were very impressed. But the best bit? The ghost train ride to get in to the dining area… I’m not kidding.
