Lygon Street is best known for their Italian restaurants but rest assured, they do other cuisines quite well also and Kangaroo Smile proves this. Although situated next to Killaney, one of the more excellent Malaysian restaurants, this relatively new food dispensary is more than capable of competing with its better known neighbor. A slightly different menu it is still a great place to grab a bite! I was seriously craving Chicken Curry but there was none on the menu so I opted for a Beef Ball with Noodle Soup and a Skinny Latte. My meal was truly delicious, the beef balls kinda like meatballs without the sauce and went perfectly with the broth. The latte was ginormous so I was unable to finish it– also the coffee was sadly pretty poor. My friend ordered a Kangaroo Burger and the said it was also brilliant! Definitely give this little gem a try.
