Loved my feed. Not too oily, good portions for price and good friendly staff. Keep it up chippys

Staff are young and don’t seem to know what they are doing. Food is extremely average. Will stick with the Great British Chippy in Currambine rather. Nothing to write home about.

Chippy’s grill Spanish Mackeral to perfection and it’s great value. The fish comes out succulent and the slice of lemon adds a nice tang. Option for no flour helps keep the allergies away, so I couldn’t be happier.

The food at Chippys in Carramar is consistently good. The fish is fresh and tender and the chips crispy. The servings are generous, and every time I have ordered snapper I have been given an extra piece for free. Maybe that is their policy or maybe I just flirted enough with the staff? Who knows. I am not complaining. During the day they have some great value specials like the Tradies’ lunch, which is a serving of chips, snapper and calamari for under $ 10. The menu has other food such as hamburgers available. The service in recent months has improved dramatically. It used to take ages just to make your order, and then forever to actually get your food. This can still be the case on a Thursday or Friday night. Do yourself a favour and call ahead, so you can just run in to pick up your order. There are booths and tables set up so you can eat in, but at night they are generally full of people waiting to pick up their order, or noisy teenagers. Oh and they are cash only — no EFTPOS or credit card. There is a CBA and Westpac ATM just outside.
