We’ve chosen this café, because it was recommended by Unilocal reviews. And it was amazing. The coffee, the food and the service: everything was just perfect.

Loved this place– menu unusual and very delicious. Presentation of food was very beautiful. Service was friendly and prompt. Brekky and a drink you’re looking at under $ 25 pp– good value for the quality of food and presentation. Good indicator also was it was packed and people waiting for free tables.

Einstein would be happy with this place. I know I was. We went here for lunch after stalking it on Unilocal for a few weeks. It’s funky, with the décor and the menu tells you straight away they put some thought into the place. I had my usual long Mac and then a latte because the coffee is excellent. My smashed avo was delicious and my wife’s lamb slider was very good. You can get breakfast at lunch so the girls has eggs and toast with fresh bread and local jam. It’s great for everyone. There were babies and young couples and even young professionals with their laptops. Of course they were no doubt checking Facebook. I wasn’t fooled. I plan to go back. Great coffee and the desserts looked too good.

A breath of fresh air in the Caulfield café scene. Delicious, specatular food. Go for the smashed avo, go for the bircher. Try all of it, have the burger or the Einstein Shake. These guys have food and drink covered. It is so good. The coffee is great. Only café south of the city I can think of that has Small Batch in the hoppers. Candyman blend and single origin. They know how to make their coffee too. I had the Double2 which is essentially a Magic. Try it with the Candyman blend, it goes down a treat. I love the aesthetic of the place. It is a whole bunch of fun. The staff are friendly and look like they’re having a great time. There’s a whole assortment of random decals and do-dads on the walls and roof etc. Very, very trendy café. Give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome café in Caulfield. Recommend the Einstein Shake — pineapple, mint and lemon — SO good, especially on a hot summers day!

I had to update this review and gush about the amazing range of breakfasts available. I am calling it — best place in mid south-east to have breakfast. The coffee is smooth, the waiting staff look like they fell out of Calvin Klein ad and best of all? They have brunches with a middle-eastern twist. Look — I brunch a lot. And to be honest with you, there’s only so many time you can get poached eggs. They’re a little same-same. They’re different here. Choose from a acai bowl with banana, coconut milk and granola or an Egyptian breakfast of eggplant, spinach, eggs, lamb, feta, dukkah and beetroot relish. I am a huge fan of the middle eastern pancake at the moment — date and tahini pancake with maple syrup, berries and whipped halva. So delicious. It made me cry a little. Also highly recommend the pineapple, mint and lime shake and the slices — the peanut butter and chocolate is amazing. I will try and come here once a week I have decided. Life is too short to deprive yourself of *that* pancake.

Go there, if only for the Bircher Muesli, the new love of my life! However, I do occasionally cheat on it with a chocolate peanut butter muffin, I’m only human after all!

OMG Einstein’s 251… I knew that I had to come to a place called Einstein’s… my husband is a mathematician and actually wrote many papers on Einstein’s theories(yeah, nerd!). But what is there NOT to like about Einstein’s? The menu is a smörgåsbord of delicious brunchy treats and I always have respect for a café that actually tells you on their menu how they serve their coffee(and at what temperature!) I’m thinking that the long black in a glass guy didn’t see that? Anyway… I had a fantastically made coffee, the potato and spring onion fritter stack, named E=MC2(a huge stack of fritter, egg, haloumi, bacon and avocado — yum!) My husband had the Ruben sandwich which was perfect, other than they ran out of rye. We finished it all off with a brownie and ice-cream to share. Also, the staff are super lovely! It was like they actually LIKED working there, a rare thing in cafes. I will definitely be back, there are far too many items on the menu that I need to eat… so yeah, I will be eating my way through the menu! p.s — they are currently doing a warmed apple cider for the cooler weather… with the trimmings!

This café is really super cute. The design is great, the layout is appealing, and ALLTHEWATERJUGSAREMEASURINGBEAKERS. LIKEIN A LAB. LIKEEINSTEIN. It’s a little gimmicky, maybe, but the food and the service were great, so it’s cool. Relatively busy at 12:40 on a weekday, but still plenty of spots. The head waitress was attentive, and the food was pretty quick — but only *just* quick enough for my 30 minute lunch break. I had the Theory of Relativity on pide — it was delicious, warm and held together well. The little cherry chocolate E=MC2 cupcake I bought on departure was pretty delicious too. I don’t drink coffee, but appaz they have fancy things going on there. If you have business at Caulfield Town Hall(who doesn’t???) then I would recommend it heartily.
