My Cargo Hold has to be one of the best christmas decoration shops going. I’ve been raised in a family that loves the process of decorating for Christmas. It’s a real family activity, we dedicate a day to it (and walk around for most of it wearing the decorations rather than putting them anywhere useful). As such, we’re always on the lookout for good decorations.
Good, I think in this case more than some others, is in the eye of the beholder. I don’t like decorations that are either edible (the dog, the kids, or, um, I eat them before they get on the tree), breakable (should be obvious), or especially fancy. Decorations have to feel inclusive, not prissy and department store-esque. I want to be able to smoosh (technical term) them all together on a tree and have the higgledy piggledy mess be as pretty as I want.
My Cargo Hold sells those kind of decorations. Affordable, friendly, and smooshable.
