No freakin’ way! This place is the bomb. I rarely give 5 stars but this place earned every one of them. A busy night and they got us in. Not an ideal table but they quickly moved us to another without us asking. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was truly to die for. We started out with the garlic cheese pizza for appetizer, shared the spanner crab fettuccine(simply amazing), it was spicier than I anticipated but I loved it. Then had each a ice cream sandwich and the nutella crêpe. The desserts were really great(ice cream sandwich surprisingly better), but that FOOD, OMG …5 stars, all the way!!!

We came here for a work lunch recently and to be honest, the pizza I was told was fresh and edible. Because I didn’t eat any I can’t really say. I went against the grain and ordered a risotto which was meant to be Risotto Pollo — creamy mushroom with chicken. The taste was missing. I kept adding salt but all that did was make me thirsty and it still didn’t taste that good. Even with lots of chilli, it didn’t work. Another workmate got the Ossobucco beef after I told him what ossobucco actually was. He said that it was good. The meat melted on his fork so I can only assume that it tasted good too. Overall? It’s a pricey endeavour for so so food. Maybe their pizzas are the things to stick to?

Great food and amazing pizza. Service was really good even though they had a full restaurant.

I recently tried the new Croydon Park Maranellos. While it didn’t rock my world, and the pizza was so-so; the truth is that Croydon Park needs a local pizzeria that delivers — so thumbs up for that. The delivery was prompt and free.

YUM. Delicious went on a Saturday night with a group of 6. We managed to get the last table so the restaurant was at full to the brim. The food we ordered was very tasty and authentic italian. To start, we had the green olives stuffed with feta crumbed and lighly fried oh so delicious(I am dreaming of more as I type this), we also had the trio of dips that was just ok —(i think that was our fault for ordering poorly) . Mains were pizza capricossa– ham mushrooms and olives and mammas pizza, a buffalo cheese pizza — — both the pizzas had a great woodfire base and delicious tomato sauce — very happy with these, it’s always nice to see good quality ingredients used and this made my tastebuds happy. Others at the table had the pumpkin ravioli, veal with prawns and avocado & a chicken with bosciola sauce everyone was happy with their order(this does not happen often). The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food . You should also know that even though the restaurant was at capacity they still managed to get the meals to our table in a reasonable time which I should be impressed about, but I did feel a bit let down by the service because for 20 minues we tried to get more drinks from the waitress but she was so busy she didn’t see us. I am hoping that the service improves(or they add more staff) and I will definitely be going back and hoping to be able to make my rating higher.
