We ordered the meal deal pack for 2, but the serving was big that it can be shared by 3 persons. For me, it’s a good value for money. There are few tables in the store and the ice cream/coffee shop beside it, but you can easily bring your takeaway and sit by the beach. There are grassy terraces built aginst the beach wall where you can have a nice view of the sea, just across the street from Cott’s.

Best value for a feed in Cottesloe — I was staying at the Beach Chalets, and it was a few minutes stroll down the esplanade. Value for money was brilliant, saving a good 40% on a fishermans basket compared to the other places nearby — and the fish was a beautiful locally sourced offering, too.
The absolute winner here is the crab sticks — the batter they use comes up wonderfully crispy, and makes a great counterpart to the squishy hot filling. I’d have preferred my calimari crumbed, battered calimari didn’t quite work for me, but it was tasty and tender all the same.
They did tend to close quite early, which was a shame — but them it was pretty much the middle of winter when I was there, so that does probably drop the beach ‘foot traffic’ somewhat for them.

If you are by Cott’s beach, and hungry, there’s nothing better than buy some fish and chips and head down the beach or the grassy area with the perfect view to the beach and sit down, relax, and munch.
Cott’s take-away hits the spot in so many levels. Great fries, awesome fish portions, cool staff, and fast service.
Definitely go for the family deals if you are in a group, as it is a bit cheaper, but even if you are flying solo, the prices are not bad and the overall quality is great.

Half this store is yet another fish and chip place also serving up burgers and kebabs. It was disgustingly hot the day I came here and all I felt like was a slushy or an ice cream to take my mind off the heat.
I walked into the other half of the food joint where they have the ice cream cold drinks and slushies. Look I honestly do feel sorry for this place, red spoon is just down the road and it gets the bigger crowds. I was willing to give this place my business but on this day it was simply unprepared. The ice cream looked near on melted in the fridge counter and the slushy machine was out of order. It was a 39 degree day, you kind of expect more if this place is going to outstand its competitors and the heat.

Cott’s Takeaway is a pretty basic fast food joint on Cottesloe beach which serves up a bunch of different feeds from fish and chips to burgers and kebabs. When you walk inside the pictures of the food on the menu overhead is less than enticing, but it belies the taste.
The kebabs are solid, if not spectacular, the fish and chips are greasy and tasty but my personal favourite is the works burger. it may be a bit sloppy to eat but boy does it fill you up!
There is very limited seating, but if you are looking for chips and a drink to have at the beach then this is as good a spot as any.
