Craigie Hot Bread Shop

When we moved from Perth this was the one place I knew without a doubt I would miss. I crave it still and we have been away in America for three years. We tried to talk them into freezing some pies for us and shipping them — regardless of the cost, but they couldn’t do it. I guess we’ll just have to make that long flight over when we go see the family in Ballarat :)

This is a quality little Bakery, my boyfriend’s mum lives near and if she wasn’t such a good cook I’m sure we would be stopping by here more often.
The freshest of the fresh bread and pastry with way down to earth prices. There is a table inside that you can sit and enjoy their hot breakfast wraps and rolls or enjoy a coffee and slice for only $ 4.
The pies here are really good the pastry is not over done and is deliciously crunchy and flakey just the way it should be. The fantastic home made approach and service is always friendly and the lady treats you like she knows you as she bustles in and out of the kitchen.
I love this place and so do the locals you can see them quite often popping in and out of here choosing quality products over the slightly cheaper supermarket stuff.
