Excelent restaurant, everything was delicious and fresh. We has the mix plate that has a little bit of everything + falafel + baba ganoush

This place is awesome! Healthy, tasty and really good value. I think that without a doubt this is the best Falafel is the best I ever ate. Clean, cool and trendy. Not a typical old style joint. This place is cutting edge.

What’s not to like? Fresh food, spiced & cooked to perfection, warm friendly staff & Falafel to die for. Only open for 5 months — definitely a must visit for those who know their Lebanese street food.

Tucked away on Military Rd, hard to see when driving past, is a delightful Lebanese café. Friendly staff make the food accessible and suggest items for a takeaway. The fit out is edgy modern and not my cup of tea, but I imagine it appeals to a younger crowd. Open for early dinner, this suits my eating pattern. Food is good but over packaged and relatively expensive($ 60 for 2 people).

A friend asked me last week what my last meal on earth would be. I told him either a beef burger from Pub Life Kitchen or a falafel sandwich from Yummba. He doesn’t eat burgers as he’s vegan, and while he agreed that the falafel from Yummba are amazing, he did suggest I give Falafel Zaman a try. So I did. Both places are similar in that they make their falafel fresh so you’ll have to wait several minutes for your order. The difference however is that Yummba serves its falafel in a pita pocket while Zaman wraps it in Lebanese bread. This isn’t a concern for me so long as the bread is fresh. In both cases it was. I think though, that on the whole, the ingredients(the falafel, hommus, tabouli, pickles etc) are more flavoursome at Yummba. That isn’t to say Zaman’s sandwich wasn’t tasty — it was actually pretty good. It is to say that my last meal on earth would still be a falafel roll from Yummba rather than Zaman.
