Some of the best value Thai on the lower north shore. Thai restaurants around here all serve the same food to varying degrees of success and expense. Thai Emerald doesn’t do much that’s innovative with its menu but it does it better (and generally cheaper) than the competition.
All the old favourites are here — tod mun pla, gang dang gai and laksa, for instance.
This isn’t a place you want to sit and eat so order takeout or home delivery (they’re fast — usually less than 30 minutes and sometimes within 10 minutes if you’re close).
If only they served roti I’d give them 5 stars.
