Nice atmosohere though outdated décor in the main bar. Service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately the food was pricey, the menu had too many options due to the specials menu being longer then the actual menu! The rump steak was cooked well but a little bland and under seasoned. The grilled chicken salad special had an unusual dressing, which tasted like olive juice but they did give us a free coffee each when we mentioned something so thats good. We will be back for the bar, but not for a meal.

Very impressed on our first visit to Currambine bar and bistro. Service so good our entrees were on the table before I returned from the bar with our drinks. Wow! Food, attractive, hot and delicious. Apart from being a little on the noisy side our evening was blissfull. Have been several times since. Give it a try

Went here for lunch yesterday. Disappointed in a word. However, the wait staff were great. Offered money back as an option… Not in a hurry to go back. Food wise nothing outstanding. Undercooked prawns… and overcooked steak! Definitely would not go back for lunch. My meal was warmed up and dry. Sad to say, not even a free meal would entice me.

Hit and miss here, no table service and food is a bit pricey, good selection of beers and the staff are polite

We have been here a few times and have actually had some amazing meals. Sadly tonight wasn’t as good as before. It is a Saturday night and very busy I’ll give them that but all of our meals came out cold. My mum’s meal was the last to came out and she ordered the salmon. It was colder than my meal which came out first so we asked for it to be heated up but when it came back out there were elements missing and was still as cold as it was when we asked for it to be sent back. The hostess was amazing though and refunded the meal no problems. The atmosphere is always amazing here, the bartenders are quick to serve you and the live music is good but in terms of food… go on a night when it won’t be flat out.

came here for lunch on Tuesday with my dad I ordered the reef n beef which was 300grm sirloin with bacon wrapped prawns my steak was cooked well but was bit fatty but you get that with sirloin sometimes I was a bit disappointed with the prawns with only getting two. the garlic brandy sauce had to much garlic and couldn’t taste the brandy other that my meal was ok. My dad had the black paella which was very poor it has absolutely no flavor the rice tasted like it was cooked just in water the mussels were precooked and place just on top of the dish not even warm. paella should chorizo in it as well as capsicum. Could only point at how the poor the dish was after they came to collect the plates not once were we asked how our meals .we were offed 2 free beers which was nice but they should do table checks it not like it was flat busy or under staffed. Will return but not in a rush

This place actually took me by surprise! I’ve always heard it was busy and the rumours were true! Went to dinner on a Tuesday night and it was buzzing, great atmosphere. The menu was huge with all different cuisines. I had the garlic prawns as an entrée size for main because all the meals around me at other tables were huge! So I was glad I went with a smaller size. They were delicious! Also I have a peanut allergy and they were so great with it, the lady even went and spoke to the chef and asked if I had my epi pen on me overall I would definitely go again. If I had one complaint it would just be that we did wait quite a long time for all of our meals, however we were a table of 10 so understandable. The meals all came out together which is better anyways. Happy little diner

Nothing amazing, but good for a Sunday drink and steak sandwich!

We went here for Mother’s Day dinner. Glad we booked because it was packed. We ordered garlic bread and oysters Kilpatrick for entrée. The oysters Kilpatrick were delightful. The balance of flavours was good. No one likes eating an oyster that tastes purely like Worcestershire sauce. For the main I ordered a creamy wine wine and garlic chicken penne, served with bacon and broccoli and garnished with toasted almonds and a piece of crispy panchetta. Portion size was great, I hate when you order a pasta and it is huge and you feel do wasteful when you can’t eat anymore and there is a third still in the bowl. Overall the experience was nice. The décor is modern. Bar staff were great. Only minor let down was the waitstaff, they could use improvement, but it isn’t a deal breaker. It was very affordable-good value for money. I would dine here again.

My family and I came here for Easter dinner last year. I remember it being really loud but buzzing with music and a fun atmosphere. Was hard to hear my mum talk to me but that a bonus sometimes ;) The wasn’t many chicken dish options with most of them having some other meat/seafood in the dish. In saying that the meal was nice and the tolberone cocktail was amaaaaZZing! We have booked again for this Easter and i hope they have added new dishes to their menu.
