This local chicken shop is about what you expect from most local chicken shops, you have the usual options of chicken and chips (in various sizes), burgers, Yiros, AB’s and much more.
Staff are good and there are some good value combo options for chicken meals, burgers, etc. along with drinks for takeaway for around the $ 12 mark so quite good.

We regularly get take away from Fat Chicken and have never received bad food. The prices are good, chips are fantastic and service friendly/​efficient. Call ahead first to avoid waiting.

This is my local for hot chips and I must say that when we indulge in such a thing we like to get them from here.
Fat Chicken is in the Dernancourt Shopping Centre right next door to the new Ned’s and parking is usually not a problem.
The chips are perfectly cooked without being greasy and no problem with asking for extra chicken salt.
As there is always a wait around dinner time I now ring first and the go collect my bag.
