This place had all the potential and none of the punch. After being so very excited to try this place I was quite disappointed with my experience. High note — the fries were great and the portions were huge. Low note — wine in a cup, unexciting flavours and mass produced meals. The place was fairly empty on a Tuesday. The menu left me excited for our coming meal, with a bit of a chose your own adventure style concept. Some places have a certain charm when serving wine in water glasses but in this place it was a little out of place and cheap feeling. I tried the vegetarian balls with pesto and white beans — overall it was slightly warm mush with limited texture or flavour. Although we left very full due to the large portions(neither of us finished even half our meals) we were a little underwhelmed. Having had such a wonderful experience at a similar concept store on Melbourne I would not put this on your todo list as its a bit of a disappointment. Please note this place does deliver. I hope I just made poor choices with the vegetarian option and this place has much to offer to the eaters of the enmore area!

This place is cool. You can get balls deep in some spicy pork and sauce. It’s a place to get your balls to the wall. 1001 puns that I can use are written on the unisex toilet wall and they actively encourage it, no less. Just ask for a texta. The woman serving us, made us feel like we’d gone around to Aunty Jan’s for tea. She may be the owner because she was backing it 100% «You could pay $ 40 for the same thing at „X“ restaurant, I’ve been told, and ours are just as good if not better» She was right. I could eat her balls all night. I chose the spicy pork, with spicy tomato sauce. They make all the sauces in house, so you’re pretty much guaranteed that it will taste better than anything. 3 Balls was around $ 9, and then you get sides for an extra $ 5. Steamed greens, salad, or whatever else. You can get balls between buns. A ball burger was about $ 15 and comes with chips and it’s a delicious brioche bun. For about $ 35 you can happily feed two people. It tastes like something my mum would have made. A real comfort food, which I reckon will go down a treat in Winter time.
