I’m not really sure what people are on about when they say the Ferny Grove Tavern is pricey.
I pretty much live on the $ 10-​off steak Monday and $ 16 steak Wednesday. Not only that, but the side-​salad is actually a very edible ceasar salad. The $ 12 lunch menu is another winner.
The staff are very accomodating and I’ve never had an issue with meals being incorrect or forgotten.
The FGT is also one of the only places that has Canadian Club on tap.

Nice spot with kids. However the game machine has never worked for the kids in the play room. Menu is ok would only go on the midweek special nights again as it’s overpriced for family on the weekends. Food is always nice.

The Ferny Grove Tavern is pleasant enough, but it really lacks atmosphere and the meals are quite pricey. Not overly rapped.

The Ferny Grove Tavern, which has recently reopened after being rebuilt, is a normal run of the mill pub/​tavern. With the typical gaming room, front bar and bistro it also has a drive through bottle shop with a pretty decent beer and wine range. The staff are friendly enough and the drinks prices are okay for a suburban pub. The Bistro has a pretty good, standard, range of food however their prices are little bit steep for a suburban pub. Not a bad local pub and consistent.
