A short walk from Brunswick St reveals a newly iconic mural from the acclaimed and well-​documented Everfresh street-​art studio.
On the corner of Johnston and Young St (on the western wall of the Nightcat), the huge black-​and-​white ‘Welcome to Sunny Fitzroy’ mural was completed in September 2009 after around eight months of work.
It is reportedly 35 metres long and nearly five metres high and is much more impressive than most of the street art tourists normally get their photos taken in front of along Brunswick St.
