Harvey Norman Fortitude Valley

Homemaker City in Fortitude Valley has on offer all the big name home furniture/​appliances stores in one complex, one of which is Harvey Norman. I came here the other day with some friends because one of them was suffering with the heat this Summer and needed aircon asap. We circled the area where the airconditioners were and checked out the choices. We were more interested in looking at portable aircons, in which they were quite limited in. Whilst discussing the option, we couldn’t find any staff to help us. Finally, by chance, a customer was walking and talking with a staff member and finished their conversation as they got closer to us. Yay! Someone helped us.
The guy who helped us was pretty good. Initially he seemed quite snobby, but after a few jokes about the weather, the heat and the need for aircon, he relaxed and joined in on the banter. He even demonstrated the use of the portable aircon. We waited for the aircon to kick in and when it did, it blasted out a very welcomed gust of cool air. Success! The guy seemed well informed on the product and even explained why this would be his choice. It really helps to hear info like this. My friend had decided on it. The guy informed us where the pick up area was and happily left us with a sale. It was a very informed and easy shopping experience. Good customer service too.
