Let’s call this review a work in progress. I’m keen to experience Freo’s latest little café some more. This morning I whizzed in for a coffee and salad to go. First up the entry through Kakulas Sister is so sweet, a lovely courtyard greets you before entering the café to the big grin of Wade, aka«That Crumpet Guy». The barista was equally as charming. I was delighted the place uses bonsoy, learned through a snappy reply to a Facebook question. And the coffee was great. I’ll update this review after my hubby has a long black with his opinion. Fancying something savoury I pounced on a serve of the only salad going(only one option per day??)… It was really lovely with beans, pemby orange beetroot and purple broccoli. Personally I like quite acidic salads so it was a little lacking but I’ll check out some more options in the weeks to come and get back to you! Overall I’m digging the joint.
