Situated right on the corner block, this shop lends itself to a gallery like existence. With a beautiful lay out, displaying more than just prints and paintings, they specialise in «gift ideas» which means elaborate glass bowls and exotic frames.
There was one particular boab painting with metallic gold for $ 2200 with a 10% off sale– still pitching around the $ 2000 mark was enough for me to know that I would not be taking that painting home, but there were some gorgeous pieces.
The woman who was assisting me was exceptionally helpful and more than happy to write the quote down on her card– I explained I already had a card but thanked her anyway–
a thoroughly enjoyable taste of culture.
