What a little gem of a place! Went their for lunch and had the beef burger. It was so big that it had to be split on the plate. The salad and chips that complimented this amazing dish were spectacular! The freshness of the salad on the burger was just amazing. Also managed to try one of their crepes too, well did the best I could that is. Tropical mango crêpe, whats not to love? Really amazing and even the extra large coffee for takeaway was huge! It barely fit in the cup holder of my car. Finally you are probably thinking, all that nice food must have cost a packet of cash right? Wrong! The prices were very reasonable for the quality that was given. I almost felt a littlw guilty thinking it was a little too cheap, that is a rare thing coming from me. All in all, staff were amazing and friendly even to ask how our meals were. Top notch guys, keep up the quality service, next time Im in the area, I will have to try out your famous breakfast dishes.

The best breakfast place in Gawler and arguably one of the best in regional SA/Adelaide. Loads of amazing food(breakfast/brunch/light lunch) is available here for prices which aren’t extortionate, which is certainly welcome. Personal favourites are the eggs benedict/the big breakfast if you’ve had a big night and need a solid brunch. Amazing milkshakes and great coffee, definitely a place not to be missed. THE place to be in Gawler, would definitely recommend booking a table on Saturdays/Sundays so as to ensure you’re not disappointed.

This place is the best breakfast venue Gawler has ever known! The eggs Benedict is a must for me, served with a pancake, ham, one egg and bernaise sauce(yes they still call it a Benedict with bernaise sauce). The eggs are always spot on, whites cooked well with a runny yolk centre, spot on! The coffee is always brewed to perfection and the lady that owns it clearly cares about the food her staff prepare. This place is fantastic! I look forward to every meal here because I know the quality is repeatable. It’s very reasonably priced especially when considering all of the other Barossa venues that want the earth, sometimes for poorer offerings. I’ve heard booking on weekends is essential to not be disappointed. Couldn’t imagine Gawler without the Java Hut, also affectionately known as the monkey place between friends!

Came up from Adelaide to meet friends at Gawler for breakfast. What a fantastic little café! The savoury crepes were delicious and the eggs benedict were served on crepes instead of a thick slab of sourdough toast which was a very pleasing alternative. Excellent espresso and iced coffee. Will definitely return when in the Gawler area again.

Great food. The kids just loved their brekkie. Pancakes shaped as Micky Mouse! Need to book as the place is jammed packed. Very friendly staff. Lots of folk take away coffee. On road parking available — early morning. Worth stopping by.
