I wish I’d discovered Scotty’s a few weeks ago, I would have had SO much fun at Halloween! I happened upon this store by accident, although I am positive it must be much-loved in the film & TV industry and theatres as well as amongst Newtown’s still-healthy Goth population.
I wasn’t really in the market for makeup but the lure of the fake blood as well as quality-looking make-up inside hooked me in. It was bang on closing but the shop assistant didn’t say anything to me, just waited patiently while I browsed and it was only when her senior came in to close up that I even realised that’s what they were doing.
Fake blood, liquid latex, or long-wearing regular make-up can all be found at Scotty’s and it all looked reasonably priced to me! (I mean, how much IS a vial of true blood these days…)
