Well, i checked Unilocal before deciding on going here and i have to say the reviews here are very generous. My wife ordered an open platter souvlaki while i ordered an old school burger. Firstly, i didnt think much of the service. When the bull total is upwards of $ 50 i think is fair to expect table service. While the staff were helpful enough it seemed that the brief given is to turn the tables over as quick as they can, little things like a napkin were not provided as a result. Next, the food. My wifes souvlaki meat lacked any and all flavor. The crazyness doesnt stop here, onion rings have zero salt applied and half the fries also lacked this basic flavor. While my burger was ok it doesn’t warrent a 4 or 5 star review, it also lacked basic flavor. The pineapple and beetroot did try to mask it but you could tell. Over rated on Unilocal and a poor experience all round. Also, charging $ 9.50 for beer because you think is craft is ridiculous.

DEE to the LICIOUS souvlaki !!! The big let down was the tzatziki sauce but great service and friendly staff overall. Will definitely see me again here!

Ate at this joint for the first time today. Ordered the Sinatra burger and their souvlaki. Awesome stuff!

Taking away a The Ellena Chicken souvlaki. A bit expensive but has nice wrap & lots of meat. The feta cheese is not too cheesy & goes well with the tasty sauce. The chips give it a bit of crispiness.

Basically this place is a modern take on the old burger or souvlaki joint. The style is contemporary industrial: lots of warm earthy timber, black steel and concrete. M.I.T.M celebrates meat, and serves it with style on wooden paddles. There are lots of interesting sounding burgers, but what tempted me on my first visit was the Kingsway. It’s an open souvlaki with mini pita bread, asian-style dipping sauces, some hero Pork(sliced off the spit) topped off with a refreshing apple-slaw salad. So right for the location. And so refreshingly different from your traditional souvalaki joint. The menu seems full of interesting takes on meat for carnivore lovers like me. I’ll be back to try something else.
