Bay Bar Dos

Bay bar don’t is more like it. The best thing about the place is it’s location with a great view. The service was slow and the meal was PAINFULLY slow. My husband and I ordered 5 tapas dishes and two hours later we had only gotten 4 dishes!!! Our parking meter was about to expire so we went to the cashier and said we wanted the bill and to cancel the last dish. Well to our surprise they had forgotten the last dish anyway! This was after we had waited over an half of hour for the dish and waitress had told us 20 minutes earlier that it was only a few minutes away! This service could be forgiven if the place was really busy but there were only a few people. Another couple was also irate and complaining to the waitress about how long it was taking for a meal. The food, what little we did get, was delicious. But given the small portions and extremely long wait, it just wasn’t worth it. I think I saw a few skeletons in the corner still waiting on their meals when we left.

Finally made it down to this ‘new’ place in Glenelg and so glad I did! Awesome location, good service, laid back atmosphere and totally impressive food. The food is all served Tapas style so its best to go with a few mates and all get a little something of the menu. A great addition to the other choices of Jetty Road. Lots of great looking specials too that we were told change daily.
Some great drink choices too, includes an extensive wine list and cocktails and sangria. All the beer and cider is served in bottles… I hope they may get at least one/​two tap beers in the future.
The greatest thing is the view from the outside seating area at sunset… fantastic!
