I’m just going to say it, Relish’d is definitely among the best burger joints in Adelaide. I haven’t been to places like Bread and Bone or Nordburger but regardless Relish’d is in the top. Why do I say this? Ridiculously low prices, generous portions, prime location(burgers on the beach?) and most importantly tastes wonderful. I live pretty close by as well. It’s just off the main beach area, opposite watermark on Anzac Hwy. It’s a small place with outdoor seating and because it’s not on the main Glenelg strip there’s no kids running around and much less noise. I’ve been a few times but for the most recent trip there was no diners(Wednesday 2:30 so it’s quiet). I chose the one with onion rings, bacon and an assortment of sauces because you can’t go wrong with burgers and onion rings, right? And I was right! For $ 11 – 12 the portion was overly generous and was oozing with sauces. There was the tomato chutney thing, a Cheese Whiz sauce and some other sauce I can’t really remember. Comes with a juicy and nicely charred beef patty, pickles, cos lettuce(always nice to see nicer lettuce) and the usual trimmings. I took a bite and I was in burger heaven! After a few bites sauce was falling everywhere and it got messy, had to knife and fork the last bit of burger. Not much to describe here. Bacon works with everything and so do onion rings. The cheese whiz deserves a mention since most places will melt American cheese or those Kraft singles(or cheddar). The texture of the whiz is nice, alot smoother in my opinion. Everything just works together. I also shared a side of chilly cheese fries, which were also nicely done. The chips remained crispy after sitting in the sauce, more of the excellent cheese whiz and their chilli which was decent. It came with sliced pickled jalapenos on top which I love. Although I was getting full from the burger so luckily I shared. I can’t really find anything to fault Relish’d on. Low prices, relaxed setting, almost beachside location, epic burger construction and great place to eat with friends. I’ll be coming here alot. It’s probably cheaper than fish and chips and much much better. Top burger in Glenelg for sure!(I finally understand the reason for the name Relish’d. It’s because their spiced tomato chutney is made in house and features in moist of their burgers, and it is pretty good)

I love burgers! Relish’d was highly recommended by friends to me, so I along with some friends decided to go for a bike ride down and check it out. The interior design is what you expect from a burger bar, simple, modern with the large grill at the front so the whole place is covered in the aroma of sizzling beef and bacon(heaven!). I decided to go for the Oink Burger with an extra egg, because I love my bacon & egg. The wait for the food wasn’t long at all. Presentation wise, the burger looks fantastic. The bun was a crispy golden brown, with bright lettuce pieces. The egg was cooked sunny side over where the yolk simply melts and lathers the inside completely. The sauce was on point, giving a tangy yet sweet taste to the burger and yet not overpowering any of the meats. We also ordered some chilli cheese fries as well which were great to go along with the amazing burger. Overall, Relish’d is now on the list of my favourite burger bars in Adelaide, and there are a lot of them around now. I would definitely come by again and try out other burgers on there extensive menu.

Yum. Just yum. We’ve been in Adelaide just for the weekend and had lunch before heading to the airport. The kids want us to take Relish’d back home with us! One of the best burgers we’ve had. The kids chicken burger was the perfect size for them — although half way through they both declared they would be needing another. However they were all talk — they were both filled nicely! My Oink Burger was Delilah — the caramelised onion made it perfect. And hubby’s bunless Hell Fire hit the spot perfectly. Thank you — we will definitely be back if we get to Glenelg again.

Reqlly enjoyed the burgers here. I quite liked the relish in the burgers, thus the name, thought it was something a bit different. Would recommend.

Tastiest burgers! Relish knows what’s what when it comes to burgers. Once you’ve had a relish burger you can’t got anywhere else. Chips are also amazing! Staff are always friend and acknowledge you even the younger staff member provide great service.

In the last few weeks I have been ticking off the Adelaide weekend notes guide to the best burgers in Adelaide. Relishd was one of the first places I visited and keep going back. A burger is 4 simple things but, party, sauce and garnish. The Relishd buns are fresh and suitably sized, made from a local bakery. He patty is tasty but not completely overpowering. The garnish and aioli they put on enough to be tasty but not drowning the taste of the patty out.

Did the pilgrimage to the coast due to a burger-craving I could not contain. This is a nice little joint just outside the busy Glenelg, just the right location. Alas, the burger(the spicy one), was nothing to rave about. The bread was good, the meat was tiny, the sauces dripping(as they should). Didn’t get fries because I keep forgetting one has to order them separately. Oops. Anyway, prices are average, and burgers are average. May return if in the area, but most likely will not drive out here for them again.

YES5. I would give this place 10 of out 5 if I could. A family establishment that puts the young ones to work always makes me feel good about the life lessons those kids are gaining from customer service, but in a burger bar as good as this, they will never learn those skills needed to handle customer complains… BECAUSENOONEWOULDEVERCOMPLAIN! They have buns softer and tastier than Kim Kardashian’s and the menu is absolutely brimming with all of the deliciously marinated yummy bits. My recommendation is the Bombay Burger(for meat lovers) but their veg range is pretty darn tooting too ya know. Whenever I am in Glenelg the prospect of swimming at the beach is overshadowed until I wrap my lips around one of their delicious and PERFECT burgers. WELLDONERELISH’D… WELL D O N E! J

Best burgers in the area. Better than e’Nuf Burger Bar and a nice outdoor eating setting.

As the self proclaimed burger queen, it is with the highest authority that I decree The Big Easy from Relish’d the best burger in Adelaide.

Super tasty messy burgers. I eat here every time I’m in Radalaide because they are so good. The massive chips are perfectly cooked and have wicked good seasoning. Probably my favourite gourmet burgers period.

The Scorchin’ burger is like no other! My all time favourite. It’s the best burger joint and am a regular here. I always get the onion rings and chips for sharing, can never choose between the two. Every burger I’ve had here has been consistently excellent. No 1 for favourite burgers!

Definitely in my top two for Burgers in Adelaide so far!!! This place seems quite popular yet it was pretty quiet when we randomly decided to walk in there. I ordered the oink burger, it was so good!!! So juicy and delicious. The chips were yummy too!

THEBESTBURGERSINADELAIDE. OK, I actually didn’t realize that I hadn’t reviewed Relish’d yet! and I’ve been coming here regularly here for the past few months. So I guess I can give you my honest opinion of my experiences at Relish’d from not one but the numerous times I have visited here. yes that’s correct I’m a burger addict. I had the eye opening pleasure of trying there 1st Birthday Special«Cronut Burger» as my first experience of Relish’d, and yes I didn’t have to eat for the rest of the day, but it was worth it. and that is how my love affair with Relish’d began. I have tried many of there brilliant burgers ranging from my favourite the Fancy Chook Burger which has a whole chicken breast smothered in some awesome sauce, made up of herb aioli and brie to the more original Oink Burger, Relish’d take on the BLT with there own twist. The side of chips are amazing, if only the serves where a little bigger… but I guess there are only so many calories you can eat in one day. One thing that you may need to know is you need to eat these burgers fairly soon after purchase, something weird happens and they kind of melt. into a soft flavorsome mess… So good though Overall this brilliant little burger shop in Glenelg is worth the visit… I will be visiting again, maybe they need some loyalty cards. :)

A lot of competition out there now for burger joints and this one is defiantly one of the better ones. A little more pricey and a bit smaller burger than some of the others but the taste for me is one of the best I’ve had. Lovely owners and chips are great too.

Things just keep getting better and better at this brilliant little gem! Now they’ve been there for a year, Relish’d are branching out and adding a few new options to their menu — and they really are great additions! From the new menu, I’ve now tried the New York and Brooklyn burgers — both of which were fantastic, with New York a real standout! You can also get some tasty onion rings here now so it’s a tough choice between these and their fan-freakin-tastic chips! These guys are keen on promoting local ingredients and working with other local businesses which is a true winner in my mind. I was lucky enough to try one of their Cronut burgers last week for their first birthday celebrations, with the Cronuts coming from another great SA gem, Jenny’s Bakery. The burger was so wicked, an absolute winner for a Friday lunch! Thanks guys, for making a great South Aussie burger!

Finally got to try this place on the insistence of my brother. It’s out of my way so not somewhere I would go regularly. He’s been there plenty of times though and ordered for us. I had the Relish’d Burger with chips and tomato sauce, all of which was tasty and filling. If I lived closer I’m sure I’d be back here much more often. As it is, I’m sure I’ll make it back at least once more to show the other half what he missed out on.

My new favourite Burger place in Adelaide. Relish’d is a sweet little joint on Anzac Highway right down the end across from the Buffalo and the Watermark Hotel. I’ve been twice now, and both times the Burgers have been superb — fresh soft glazed sesame seed buns, hide a delicious blend of ingredients which will please all types of Burger lovers. A point proved by my company on my second adventure to Relish’d. Vegetarian — My darling sister, tried the Relish’d Popeye — a gluten free bun housing a Spinach and Chickpea pattie, lettuce, tomato, spanish onion, roasted peppers, and chilli and lime aioli. She smashed it. In 5 seconds flat. Fussy Salad hater — My Meat loving brother, destroyed the Oink Burger — complete with lean beef and bacon, he loved every second of it, rating it his favourite ever burger. I’ve tried the Scorch’n Burger and the Cruis’n Burger, and found both delicious, however a tip for the Cruis’n Burger — due to the avocado, relish, aoili, and pineapple it can get a little messy. Grab some extra napkins. The shop has a great feel to it, both times I’ve been in have been mid week, and I’ve noticed people from all the local businesses coming in to eat there, as well as the friendly staff delivering it some of the really close stores so they don’t even have to leave their offices. It’s sensationally friendly service, more likely to be found in a country town than one of the more touristy areas of Adelaide. I highly recommend Relish’d.

We stumbled across this burger bar walking down to the bike shop. It’s a pity they’re so far away from Jetty Road because their burgers are GOOD. The burgers are a decent size the chips are cut a little thicker and they did a good job of making sure the pattie wasn’t over cooked and dry. But don’t expect to pay McDonald’s prices for these. They’re a little pricer, but I reckon they’re worth it. If you’d like to taste a decent burger, I recommend you take a detour from the usual cafes on Jetty Road and swing past Relish’d.

The burgers here are delicious. The bun’s are from or similar to what you can get at the Asian bakery ‘Bread Top’ which brings a uniqueness to the burger munging experience. The staff are all friendly and the variety on offer is extensive. My favourite is the Vegetarian ‘Pop-eye’ burger and their chips are PRETTYGOOD. Especially with aioli! Even my gluten intolerance doesn’t stop me from consuming these bad boys, however the pain afterwards is insufferable… but worth it.
