ReviveR Cocktail Bar

We’ve been here a few times and it just keeps getting better. The atmosphere is really casual and relaxed and the bar staff go out of their way to chat and make sure you have a good night. Great to go with a group of friends or you can pull up a stool at the bar and have a chat while you watch them make a myriad of different drinks. Definitely a welcome addition to the Gosford nightlife! :)

There’s a feeling you get when you step into a venue that just works. It’s a certain je né sais quoi, something you can’t quite put your finger on but it just makes perfect sense.
Reviver is one such venue.
Situated on the main road of Gosford, this quiet little cocktail bar adds some real Melbourne-​Paris-​Portland charm to the Central Coast. The deep red wall set opposite the beautiful exposed sandstone bricks of this resurrected funeral home captures the quirky, satisfying class of the place.
And the cocktails, my god, the cocktails.
I’m quite partial to the Airmail and (when it’s available) the Aviation, but you can’t go past a Corpse Reviver, the bar’s signature drink. With a satisfying menu of nibblies, and a huge range of classic cocktails, Reviver is a great evening out for a drink, a think and a conversation.
Be sure to be cashed up, the drinks are excellent but they’re not cheap — this is not the place to get hammered (though Tommy’s Margarita packs a punch!)
Absolutely worth a visit for the connoisseur of cocktails, or if you’re looking for somewhere to relax and unwind after a day at work.

Finally Gosford’s first classic cocktail bar. Great drinks made the way they should be combined with excellent service by real people who just love their cocktails. The stories told by the owners are always amusing, and always true from their many travels around the world visiting cocktail bars. The people you meet are eclectic bunch but very interesting. You never know who you are going to sit beside. It’s unique, it’s funky. It brings a new meaning to My Third Place. Try it for yourself. Ask for the Corpse Reviver at least once.
