But this is my go-​to for all things gifting. For babbies, besties or just yourself, Blackbird and Fox has a really lovely range of gifts and presents.

I am totally addicted to Blackbird and Fox! Working locally, I can easily spend my lunchtimes drooling over lots of gorgeous, locally designed goodies for the home and also for your outfits!
I don’t think that I’ve actually every escaped without buying a little something, so be prepared.
The owner Kate, is absolutely lovely and always on hand to help you out. If you are looking for a gift (yes, something not for yourself) they offer lovely gift wrapping options too.
Follow their Facebook page and you will be kept up to date with new treats coming in so you can get in first!

This place is dangerous with a capital D! I actually avoid coming here sometimes because I know I’ll end up buying something either for myself or for a friend.
They have ceramics from Bison, knives from Languiole, hats and mittens from local artists and all manner of cute and quirky things that are great for the home. The service is friendly and helpful and I love that they wrap my gift purchases in delightful paper and then tie it all up in ribbon.

I really enjoyed walking around in Blackbird and Fox. They have some darling home-​ware and gifts to feast your eyes upon. Something else I really liked about them was a lot of their stock was Australian made. Which is both fantastic to support and they look great, so really, you won’t really care where it all came from once you take it into your homes.
They supply a lot of helpful kitchen knick-​knacks as well as a nice variety of practical tea towels with great designs on them.
Like the majority of these sorts of stores, they have some funky silicone bracelets and prints to hang in your living spaces. Time to brighten everything up a bit!
The majority of the items in store are interesting and unique so there’s a great amount of Christmas shopping that you could get done here. Either small stuff or large, they have something to fit the majority of tastes without being plain. It’s all moderately priced and the staff was lovely. I’ll be back for sure.
