Verve Hair

You know the feeling when you’re at the hair dressers and they show you your new ‘do and you tell them that you’re thrilled and you love it, only to go home, complain to your sister and cry yourself to sleep? Not Verve!
I think I’ve only been unhappy with a colour once, to which the response was a free correction and slotting me in as soon as possible. The only hair dresser I go to now, and not just for the hair styling; the conversation is wonderful and the girls are fabulous to talk to, making you feel like you’re seeing old friends as soon as you walk in the door. I absolutely adore the service provided at Verve! from the (not just one) foamy lattes they provide to the head massage with your shampoo. I’ll never go elsewhere again

I’ve been Verve-​ing for about seven years now, and not once have I had an itch to go elsewhere. I like to feel that the time at the hairdresser is my chance to chillax and feel a bit special. And so it is that I like the little extra touches at Verve: a mix of modern and retro music, an up to date selection of mags, a head massage when I get shampooed, and a coke zero (other drinks are available if you’re not into black fizz like I am) and biscuit served on a silver tray. It’s a little establishment that is both classy and fun, but what makes it extra special are the people. After so many years of walking through their door, Mardi, Bec, Rose and Taylah now feel like old friends. Bec has been my main stylist, and I’ve never once felt that she was in a rush to move on to the next client, even though I’m always there on a busy Saturday morning. If you are lucky you’ll be there when she brings in her famous fig tart :-) (her talents extend well beyond hair). I suspect that there are cheaper places out there, but if you want start a committed long term relationship with someone who genuinely cares about your hair, this is the place to go.
