My friend bought deals in living social so we went to have a try. It was a big meal for 4 of us. We had 4 hotpot meals, 2entrees, 2 fried rice, 4 drinks. Entrees: crispy tofu and fried seafood Fried seafood was just very normal. crispy tofu with the special sauce, this one was very good. 4 hotpot were in set which we could choose from 6 – 7 soup as base. And in the set, we can choose meat from chicken. Beef, lamb, pork + veg(standard, unable to choose) We chose 4 soups, pork soup, soy milk soup, collagen soup, spicy soup. Soup are normal. The service there was okay, but there are rooms to improve. After finished the hotpot, our plates were wet, but they didnt bring in the new dishes when they put fried rice on the table. I think it would be good if they can change the plates or bowls without we ask. And lastly was the way they put fire off from hotpot… It is a bit dangerous to both staffs and customers. They put a little iron cover on top of fire directly. They didnt even a a handle of that little iron piece. Or staff wasn’t with protective gloves.

After the previous week’s not so good Taiwanese food experience the sceptic in me was not prepared to go to yet another Taiwanese restaurant but I caved in FOOD We ordered three dishes between the three of us Stewed Mixed Sampler($ 10.80) Stir Fried Squid with Three Cup Sauce($ 16.80) Fried Rice with Prawn($ 12.80) The stewed mixed sampler was pretty good. Combination of cold and hot. The others were a average. OVERALL What I did like about this place was that they had a lot of typical Taiwanese dishes so I will make a return. Maybe on a Saturday night when they have a live band playing. Oh and the band practices on a Tuesday night at the restaurant and will let you sing to have your own«the voice» moment if you ask nicely. If you wanna know why I know this, well let’s just say you missed out last Tuesday night: p
