It really is great, this place. I can walk to it, and I LOVE that I can walk to it. .. that it’s my neighbourhood spot, that I BELONG there(smug, smug). And why? Because it is PACKED most nights of the week and has been since it opened last year. And why? Because the food is REALLYGOOD, and the place is REALLYFUN — loads of atmosphere. And why? O.T.T. waiters who fuss over the girls — REALLYFUSS — compliments, kisses. Such a feel-good place. Look, you can get pizza — even good pizza — anywhere. But you can’t get what this place gives with the pizza. .. a REALLYGREATFEEL. You just smile all the time — which makes it tricky to chew and swallow, but so what? Oh — and it’s now licenced(see below). BTW — don’t bother to take out — you’ll be missing the best bit.

The pizza is good, really good. Just like the other Via Napoli branch in Lane Cove, this place serves extremely good pizza. The pizza is thin crust, designed to taste the flavour of the toppings. The toppings are also traditional, none of this fancy gourmet flavours like tandoori chicken and not a hawaiian pizza in sight! We ordered 2 metre long pizzas which were amazing. Definite favourites were the siciliana and capriccosa. Despite having bulging bellies, we also ordered half a metre of nutella pizza. We had no regrets, it was delicious! You will definitely need to make a booking, this place is popular and very crowded. The tables were tightly packed together, which made for a very cosy affair! Overall, great experience, with fantastic pizza. Definitely good for groups.

Ok, so let’s get it out of the way — the pizza is good. You won’t be disappointed, beautiful thin bases with flavourful toppings.[insert other post pizza glow descriptors here] The other non pizza items are also good — we had zucchini flowers(a special) and scampi. We went on a Tuesday night & had a booking — completely necessary — the place was packed! Although the week day crowd seemed to thin out around 8.30. So, at the moment they don’t have a booze license — easily remedied with a trip across the road to the vintage cellars. just be prepared to pay an $ 8BYO charge. If we were having wine & glasses were provided, I wouldn’t have an issue but we had beers without a glass or bottle opener in sight! The service is fast(we waited longer for the bill than we did our food) & friendly, the food is yum. Definitely worth a visit.

Branching out from their famous joint out in Lane Cove to a new place out in Hunters Hill! A whole 4.8km! That’s roughly around 11 minutes drive depending on Sydney traffic.(If you don’t believe me you can check google maps — it doesn’t lie) We called at 6.40pm to book a table as its always best to book a table, was told they can sit us down at 8pm? Sure why not, you can always go to the pub next door(Hunters Hill Hotel) to have a drink or two and visualize which delicious flavours you will be eating shortly. Our table was not ready until 8.10pm but we were happy to wait instead of sit outside as it was freaking cold! Place was still packed and loud at this hour. Between the 4 of us we decided a metre long pizza was in order. The 3 flavours chosen was: Quattro Formaggi(San Marzano Tomato, fior di latte, ham, sausage, mild salami, hot salami& basil) Diavola(San Marzano Tomato, fior di latte, hot salami, olives & basil and the(Fior di latte, prosciutto parma, rocket, parmesan & basil on a white base). Pizza came out in under 10mins! Perfecto! All flavours we superb! The Diavolo was spicy hot! I could only have one slice, 4 cheese pizza amazing and the best would be the proscuitto. Staff are friendly, efficient and loud(yes majority are Italian). If you have yet to try Via Napoli — I suggest you get on it quick smart young man/lady!
