Nice atmosphere. Wait staff told me I could choose my seat and then told me I couldn’t sit where I chose. Menu says classic cocktails are available upon request but when I ordered a Cosmo was told I needed to order one of their cocktails off the menu. My drink then came to the table a full 15 minutes later. Food came out 5 min after I ordered though and was very good.

always great food and great atmosphere. Staff are great too and trivia night is fun also! they are connected to the other two restaurants and that makes them unique. I believe this is a great place to go and I take friends and family here all the time.

Great little english pub. Good quality food and great selection of beers. Really does feel like a proper english pub. Plenty of shopping centre parking. Meet with friends or watch a game. Great place to meet up or whittle away an afternoon, quite relaxed and chilled atmosphere.

Stopped in at the Fleet Street section for a bite to eat(didn’t feel like having food court) and was pleasantly surprised. The table service was quick attentive but not pushy or overbearing(I had the loveliest waitress who was friendly, helpful and all round A++). I did notice that the menu for Fleet Street was exactly the same as the pub area so you can choose either area on the ambience you are looking for. I ended up having the Chicken ‘Parma’ which was HUGE and so delicious. The food was hot, fresh and perfectly seasoned. A real gem in a suburban shopping centre. Definitely worth a try!!!

The beer garden area and live entertainment are selling points for this PIG. The food is pricey but you consistently get a quality meal. Seating is available for large groups and the atmosphere is rather relaxed. Good selection of beers on tap and friendly staff make coming here a nice experience.

If you are unaware of what the Pig ‘n’ Whistle chain is, it is a chain of pubs located in a few areas across Brisbane. What I like about the Indooroopilly Pig ‘n’ Whistle is that it is more of than just a pub; the place is divided into two different sections; the pub area, and the restaurant area named Fleet Street. I have dined at Fleet Street a few times but what I have mainly done is go to the pub. The pub here is very well maintained, there are two bars– one in what used to be a function room and one in the main room with all the tables and chairs. There is also spacious outdoors area which is very pleasant in the summertime. There is a bar menu which offers finger food such and main meals. The main meals are pretty expensive($ 35 for a steak) but they do taste very hearty– like an english pub meal should taste. If you are in the mood for something a little bit classier but still want to enjoy heart pub food, then Fleet Street is the perfect answer to this. At Fleet Street, you can either dine on the same bar menu or order from the menu specific to the restaurant. They décor has an exquisite old English feel, it is hard to remind yourself that it is actually inside a shopping centre. Whether you feel like chillin’ out at the pub or feasting at an old-english restaurant, The Indooroopilly Pig ‘n’ Whistle provides both of these services.

I quite like this Pig ‘n’ Whistle. It’s accessible, convenient and offers quality English inspired dishes all within reach of the food court. This Pig ‘n’ Whistle can be accessed from the foodcourt within Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, alternatively, it has another entrance outside. If you enter coming from the foodcourt, you will find you can go directly into Fleet Street, which is their restaurant section with full waiter service, or you can go straight to their pub-like area. The pub is dimly lit and designed to look like an old London pub of Fleet Street. The East London street made popular by its sprawling pubs and horrific history. A place where the likes of Jack The Ripper would hang about. This being said, it is novelty and creates an interesting atmosphere. For the classier of diners, I’d suggest going to Fleet Street restaurant where you will find table service and quality dining experience. The food here is fantastic! From the pub sections you can order your meals at the bar and in the restaurant, as mentioned it is full table service. My ultimate favourite meal to order here is their Steak & Guinness Pie. From the first bite, to the very last it was through and through– exceptional! I’ve eaten Steak & Guinness Pies IN London, IN East London pubs which claim to have the title of ‘Best Steak & Guinness Pies in London’, and I have to say, Pig ‘n’ Whistles pie comes very close. In additional to famous English pies, they do other hearty English meals including, Lamb Shanks, Fish & Chips, Pork Sausages & Mash, Burgers and more. If hearty meals, aren’t what you are looking for, then I suggest trying their High Tea. Plenty of delightful finger foods and your choice of tea. I should add here, their tea selection is one of the longest I’ve seen yet. There is an extensive list of black teas, green teas, herbal teas, fruit infusion teas, white teas and I could be missing some out. My favourite is their Strawberries & Cream tea. Sweet and smooth. If you are in the mood for hearty English fares and dining experience to match, you must try this Pig ‘n’ Whistle. Great service, great waiters, fabulous food!

Whilst you do tend to walk in here expecting to pay an arm and a leg for a meal, it is both comfortable and chilled out to be eating at a place like this. Although it’s in a shopping mall, once you enter Fleet Street or the pub, you feel a scenic change. The atmosphere is chilled out and reflective. They have some comfy couches to sit on in Fleet Street and the waitstaff are both courteous and attentive. I like the steak and have also had the guiness pie. On both occassions I have been impressed with the standard of food. And just before a movie too! The coffee is good too!

Fleet Street is a quaint little restaurant, café and bar located a little outside the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre food court. This being said, Fleet Street is not necessarily the kind of place you’d want to eat at when you’re in transit to your car with a trolley full of groceries. Surprisingly, in spite of its location, Fleet Street is in fact a charming yet sophisticated little restaurant. I’ve only ever had dinner at Fleet Street once but it was quite the experience. The waiters have this warm yet distant persona as they take you to your seat. Like an old fashion waiter they persistently checked that everything was ok, «is the meal ok», «how are your seats», «the food is just on its way» and so forth. The truth of the matter is, the service is quite exceptional and they needn’t seek such reassurance. This being said, I’m sure they spend most of their day serving sour dinosaurs that could find flaws in Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Sorry, I digress. The meal itself was perfectly cooked and presented and I was happy to pay a little under $ 30 for my pasta. The general vibe around the table was that everyone was pleased with our meals, but regretted not wearing fancier shoes. Fleet Street is also great for coffee. In fact, I normally go to Fleet Street if I am going for coffee around Indooroopilly. The coffee itself is consistently wonderful and the service staff have started to open up to us slightly — but only slightly. A sparkle from their eye here and there that suggests, «yes, I am in fact a real human being». I’d definitely encourage many of you to try Fleet Street out one of these days. A good idea would be to head down there before or after a movie. I’d probably avoid going there with the rush of the afternoon and weekend shoppers, but each to their own really.
