Been going here for a while. The food is always nice and hot, or cold depending on what you purchase. I like it for the simple reason that it is inexpensive(meal for $ 10 or less). Tasty(nicely seasoned, tasty broth) and filling. They are also very consistent with their generous portion sizes, flavour. Never had a bad meal. My three favourites are sushi. Any type Beef udon noodle Spicy teriyaki chicken bento box. If you walk in at peak times there may be a wAit for hot food. But that is to be expected when they are busy. I simply phone through my order, usually be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. They do give you let you know if there is a wait. The staff are friendly. Have a smile.

It’s great to have such a high quality Japanese take-away in the suburbs. I’ve never been disappointed. The Chicken Katsudon has a flavoursome Japanese bbq sauce, although it would be nice if it came with some Japanese mayonnaise on the side. Salmon sashimi is really really great value for money. At least 6 thick, fresh slices of salmon, the the best I’ve had in Perth at that price. Can’t go wrong here.

Well priced Japanese in the northern suburbs — who would have thought?! Meals are around $ 10, starters tend to be around $ 5 – 6. This isn’t a ‘dine-in’ place — but probably one of the most popular takeaway joints in Kallaroo. Ordering and waiting can be a bit of an issue here — they are quite popular so it seems a bit all over the place and it can get annoying. I tend to always get the spicy chicken teriyki(which I love). Seafood is also good — I love the crunch in the squid with japense mayo. It did get a bit lame for a moment there — we had a few average versions of what we tend to order. However it is back to it’s former glory!

I have to admit when I found out there was a Japanese Takeaway in the area I was pretty excited, even more so when I discovered is was delicious. More Rice has great authentic, fresh and also light and healthy tasting dishes. They use a range of ingredients all fresh and have very decent prices. If you have read any of my other reviews you will know by now that I am a huge Teriyaki fan, this applies with More Rice too, there Teriyaki dishes are all very tasty with a light sauce. If you’re a seafood fan do yourself a favour and get their seafood combo, it’s delicious and very good value, make sure you’ve got a large appetite though! More rice would have to be my second favourite Japanese Takeaway North of the River.
